Great accpanyment to the text book
So first of all I like how each section starts with vocabulary. The first section talking about compression I agree the questions are relative to the needed info first responders would need to correctly administer the necessary life saving actions. Moving through the book I can appreciate that it is simple and not overly complicated. I feel like if i had the textbook as a non med student i could follow along with this. I've seen and read some extremely over complicated medical texts that make the idea of med school give me a headache. I find the diagrams are clear enough to understand. the algorithms request the student to fill in vital information pertaining to the actions required by the team. I find that the algorithm diagrams show clear movement of the steps required as the team would proceed with the treatment depending on which way the patient responds. Overall I feel that this workbook is a very useful accompaniment to the text book.

Excellent Reference Book for Students and Practitioners
Medical Creations Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support workbook is a perfect adjunct to their ACLS textbook. It serves as a comprehensive study guide in preparation for your ACLS certification and covers all the major ACLS topics including specific care strategies for varying patient populations. The book is up-to-date and even includes recommendations and considerations when treating individuals suspected of having COVID-19. Highly recommend!

Great question bank for all things ACLS
This is a great workbook for anyone wanting to improve their ACLS knowledge and wants to quiz/test themselves. It really gives a nice overview of pertinent information with questions that compliment the relevant information. Would recommend for anyone looking to re-certify or brush up on ACLS knowledge. Also a great resource to have on hand for students and healthcare professionals.

Wrong answers or at least does NOT follow AHA guidelines
It says it's up to date but... this is my first time going thru ACLS and PALS, so I don't know if this was ever the recommendation or if the book is just wrong, but some of the questions give incorrect answers when I checked my work with the answer key. I'm including pictures. One says epi should be given after the 1st shock but its def the 2nd shock. One says alerting emergency personnel is the 1st step of the in-hospital chain but is clearly the 2nd. The only explanation is that the textbook i am using is from the AHA and not the accompanying text from this company. My company provided the AHA text and i was just hoping to for some study help since it's my first time doing ACLS. I just got to the 2nd incorrect answer (ugh I hope it's just these 2!) and I'm just going to watch videos instead. I'd return it but I already wrote in it.
