Swig Life 18oz Insulated Travel Mug with Handle & Lid, Confetti

This insulated mug is absolutely beautiful! The saying that you get what you pay for is absolutely true in this instance. I generally purchase lesser quality mugs like this and I have my coffee in them everyday sitting in my gazebo and take them with me when I leave for work I take it with me. On the Lesser expensive ones, they don't fit in my cup holder properly , the colors fade, the handles come off, the lids break and you're forced to jury rig the cup with another lid you already have that doesn't fit properly. I bit the bullet and bought this higher priced mug and I couldn't be happier. It seems so sturdy and the handle perfectly fits my hand. I am a petite person so I'm not sure how it would fit a larger person's hand. The bottom has rubber on it and it fits perfectly in my car's cup holder. The lid is very well made and it is sturdy. The temperature retention is perfect and this is everything that I look for in an insulated mug. Being that I use an insulated mug every day, I think I am a pretty good reference for this product. It's not too light it's not too heavy it's literally made perfectly and you can tell they did the research to create a high quality product instead of the mass produced ones that I have wasted money on in the past.

Bought this mug and two others with different patterns on them. Haven't tried it with cold things yet, but I haven't had an issue with keeping things hot for quite some time. I've had a cup of tea sitting on my desk for the past three hours, and it's only just now starting to get a bit lukewarm. I've had the tea get colder sooner in the past but that was largely because I'd forget to slide the mouth closed and heat would escape through the mouth hole. Once you get in the habit of "open the slide, take a sip, close the slide", the mug does what it says on the tin. Very easy to clean via the dishwasher and very little risk of spilling when taking a drink. I actually have to tip my head back a bit farther than I would with a normal mug to get any sort of liquid into my mouth. Not a complaint given I have absolute garbage coordination and if I can spill it, I will spill it. I wouldn't want to knock the mug over when it's full, but I don't think it'd be the worst thing in the world if that happened. Plus the silicon bottom helps prevent that from happening in the first place. I've had my cat brush up against it without incident several times. As far as quality goes, for the most part this mug is very sturdy. I say "for the most part" because while the mug itself is incredibly solid (what with it being made of metal) the plastic lid is more breakable. As stated above, I'm a klutz and I dropped the (fortunately empty) mug onto the floor. As bad luck would have it, the initial impact was right on the lip of the lid right where my mouth was supposed to go, causing a chunk to break off and leave a sharp edge. (The metal mug was unscathed. Didn't even mess up the design.) I hunted around Amazon for a way to get a replacement before I contacted Swig Life using Amazon's internal system. This is why I have "great customer service" in the headline: They got back to me within a couple of hours. I'd explained the situation and told them that I wasn't looking for a refund, just a way to purchase a new lid. (It was my own klutziness that caused the break, after all.) They offered to send me a free lid replacement which really impressed me since they didn't have to do that. Particularly since I'd basically said "Hey, this is my fault so I want to purchase the new lid. Just tell me where to go." True, they're a little pricey but I feel like I got my money's worth. Overall, I'm incredibly pleased with these mugs and I'd recommend them to other people. Particularly my fellow klutzes.

I have three of these. Love them. Colors a vibrant. Keeps liquids hot for a long time. Easy to take anywhere with you.

This is a really nice travel mug. I like that the handle feels nice in my hand and that it is designed to fit in car cup holders. I also love that you can get it in fun designs, instead of just some boring plain color. The lid is okay. It seals well enough that it keeps your coffee hot or your water cold for a long time. However, it is NOT leak-proof or spill-proof. If it tips too much liquid will spill out from under the slider. This would be a five star mug for me if it was spill-proof.

This is my most favorite mug OF ALL TIME!!! I absolutely adore this mug. Perfect for my morning London Fog! Keep my tea hot for hours!! Doesn’t leak from the sides… my only complaint is the price. 😬 I’d LOVE to buy another one but nearly $50…. Ouch. I LOVE everything (else) about this mug— the size is perfection!! I’m a huge fan of Swig!!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Very beautiful cup the durability looks great and the lid is tight but that only means it will not leak. It’s a little pricey but I had been wanting it and finally made the purchase. Love this cup.

I payed £47 for this mug and was expecting a sturdy luxury packaging. It arrived poorly bubble wrapped and damaged. I realised it is not leakproof either. Very disappointed as design looks amazing. NOT FUNCTIONAL and packaging presentation is extremely poor. I wouldn’t buy it again.

After having the item for 6 weeks the sides have started peeling from the top. Not what I expect from swig, especially given how much it cost. We do not use a dishwasher,it's been hand washed only. Terrible product. Do not buy.

I love everything about my mug. The picture is super cute, it keeps my drink warm, and it is a great size. It fits into the cup holder in the vehicle and yet holds enough liquid. I read other reviews saying that the hole is too small for drinking, but I have not found that to be the case at all. It seems to be the same size as our other travel mugs. I would highly recommend this product.

I'm not sure if I have just got a bad cup, or if this new design are all like it, but this mug leaks really badly. I don't expect it to be leak proof, but even when standing upright the motion of the car causes it to spill out of the opening, which appears to have no seal at all. Very disappointing for this price range and so much worse than my previous Swig mugs.
