Snuggle Puppy Heartbeat Toy, Calming Comfort, Medium Breeds - Cream

I got my puppy yesterday and this is, so far, the best thing I purchased. He wrestles with it and sleeps against it. He slept through the night which I totally did not expect. The toy is bigger than he is and that make the whole thing just that much cuter. I have a feeling I will be going through a lot of batteries but I think it's completely worth it. The toy is soft and so far has taken the little guys teeth with no tearing. I'll update further if he manages to rip it open or anything Update: No tearing and I did put in a hand warmer overnight to see how that worked. It made the toy warm enough to the touch to be comforting but not too hot. I'm not sure my puppy noticed or cared and I haven't done it since. He loves to wrestle with this and sleeps next to or on top of it whenever it's nap time. Update May 2017 -- He loves this toy, he still sleeps with it every night. It hasn't had a heartbeat or the warmer in years but it is still his go to sleep toy. It goes with him to boarding and on every trip. He still has the original stuffy though it doesn't have ears or eyes anymore. I had to wash it once due to an explosion in the crate, with a lot of bleach, and it fared very well. He wasn't sure about it for a few days as it didn't smell right anymore, but he soon fell in love with it again. Im very impressed with the quality as this has lasted three plus years of pretty constant mauling. Five Year Update: He still loves this toy. I keep considering getting a new one and swapping them out but it's held up surprisingly well. Seven Year Update: My neighbors got a puppy and she just cried the whole first night in the crate. I got her one of these and the difference is amazing. She hears the heartbeat and goes directly into her crate! I broke down and got my dog another one, even though this is a big pricey for the size of toy. He is in love. He has spent hours cuddling with this in the past two days. I put up a pic of the old one vs new one. I finally washed the old one and it's better, but he LOVES the new one. I was being sentimental as it was the toy I had with me when I picked him up from the breeder, but apparently he doesn't care. I will be getting more, possibly yearly, as he destroys them.

She’s loves her “baby”! The heartbeat is so relaxing, it help to keep her asleep. I highly recommend.

I love this Snuggle Puppy and cannot recommend it enough. My 8 week old lab puppy was doing very well in crate at night and willing would go in and out for meals, etc. But shut the door for a nap and he began the hysterics. And he did not stop which meant all day I had to have eyes on as he would sleep in area I had created in kitchen, outside of crate, for him to get use to living here (so needed watching) or listen to him cry and bark. I truly thought I was going to lose my mind and wanted to sob in the corner and functioning was impossible I was so tired. I was confident it was not the crate (tested my theory with creating slightly larger “playpen” like area and as soon as in there alone crying started). I kept researching what to do and nothing was helping and then I found a couple comments about this item. I figured it would be the best $40 I ever spent or the worst. It is the BEST! First time I put it in crate with my puppy he did not let out a single cry or bark and slept for 1.5 hours. It has continued to work each time and even helps him fall back asleep or stay more quietly playing in crate for a bit. Still exhausted but feel like we might make it. Thank you Snuggle Puppy!!

My soul dog recently passed away, so I bought this for his bonded (adult female Labrador) friend. She hated it from the start. Maybe it works better for puppies, but my dog is completely unnerved by the heartbeat. Refused to lay near it or even look at it. However, I definitely think this could be marketed as a tool for grieving dog owners. My pet may have hated it, but the heartbeat is surprisingly grounding and comforting to me. I’ve been having trouble sleeping since he passed, but the constant beat helps. Giving four stars *only* because the heartbeat can be a little intense. I wish there was an option to either turn it down or to buy a less powerful one. For anyone saying this toy isn’t “cute”, they’re being too fancy. It’s soft and adorable. Probably not great for dogs that like to chew.

I bought this for a 2 month old puppy I was bringing home who was used to sleeping in a crate with his siblings. He loved it and I truly think the heart beat was key. I left it in motion activation mode and it worked like a charm. He is 8 months now and still loves it. The battery died in the heart insert so I just removed it. I have washed it and it came out fine. I highly recommend.

Great product. Dog loves his new puppy. Takes it everywhere. Sleeps on it. Hugs it. Plays with it. Really does quells the dog’s anxiety.

My puppy really loves his Snuggle Puppy. It really helped him get through his first night home. After 4 weeks he hasn't gotten tired of it. Treats it like a security blanket and loves to sleep next to it. I find him resting his head on it. Carries it around with him all over the house. It's well constructed and durable. Very plush with generous stuffing and nice fuzzy texture. Holds its shape. Recommended.

I give this product an 3/5 stars this is my most UPDATED 2024 VERSION I got my new puppy June 14th she’s a maltipoo and I ordered this 2 days before she arrived but it came overnight so I would say I got this June 13th is when it arrived and I bought this because my mom was telling me how puppies will cry and cry through the night so I went on Amazon searching for something and I found this read all the reviews everybody loved this so I said why not buy this and see what the hype is so her first night home was HECTIC this is a REAL RAW REVIEW !! I put the heating pad and the little heartbeat inside of this stuffed animal and it didn’t help her at all she whined and cried through the night keeping me up FOR HOURS keep in mind this is the very first night home I even tried to switch the heartbeat around in the stuffed animal and eventually I ended up having to take the heartbeat out and place it on the cage it worked for a short period of time until she started crying and crying again I don’t know if this was because I waited to turn it on until nighttime I don’t know what it was but the first night was horrible and this thing didn’t do in hopes what I thought it would do so today is now June 17th the day I’m writing this review and puppy mamas it will mark 3 days of her being with me Saturday and Sunday she slept through the night no noise i did have the heartbeat on but I leave it on the outside and not inside I leave it on top of the stuffie and I’ve noticed her starting to cuddle up with the stuffie I just feel like I shouldn’t have to leave the heartbeat on the outside of the stuffie and I’m also crate training her in the process so she’s learning when she cries I won’t be taking her out until I wake up but so far so good only issue is me not being able to keep the heart inside the stuffie it’s very annoying and because she’s so teenie tiny she barely has teeth and is teething and it gets on the side where she is potty training but I give it 3 stars because I’ve seen her cuddle up with it like I said I don’t know if this is due to her actually liking the stuffie or her realizing she won’t get out the crate until morning time so she sleeps next to it for comfort but I am grateful that we have been able to sleep through the night peacefully on her second and third night with us that’s what I’m most grateful for because she’s her coat color is white and the stuffie is white they do blend in together 😂which is hard to tell if she’s in the cage when I wake up even though I know she is I would’ve gotten closer but I didn’t want to wake her my puppy was 7 weeks when I picked her up she just turned 8 weeks yesterday. Again puppy mommies I’m not sure if this is something you introduce to them when they first get home and not waiting until nighttime but I’ve started turning the heartbeat on 2 hours before her bedtime or 1 hour and a half and I’ve noticed changes helping to stay quiet through the night and again as I’ve said I wake up and she’s sleep next to it in the cage . This also NEVER came with an QR CODE to “get a free toy” like the other reviews were saying .. mine never came with one so that’s a lie .

Cumple su propósito perfecto! Desde el primer día lo tiene. Jugaron con el peluche sus papás y hermanitas y en casa ya lo tiene para dormir. Aún después de 5 días duerme con el, lo olfatea y lame de vez en cuando. Lo recomiendo. No lloró en la noches. I was recommended to buy this for my new puppy who is 8 weeks. It's such a good idea and I'm sure this is great for most pups but mine was initially freaked out by the heartbeat so I turned it off and have it at the side of her bed. It's more of an expensive plushie at this point!
