Love the Self Lock feature.
This is my 3rd Komelon tape measurer. I really like the self locking feature. Reasonably priced and seem to hold up well.

Great Value, mayby?
I have been a furniture and cabinet maker for forty years. I don't care what the cost is for tape measure I like. I have several Stanley Leverlocks in my shop and I think one actually works as advertised. I just received this 16" tape and it is working perfectly. Certainly better than the Stanley's did out of the box, and the Stanley's are four times this price. I have just ordered two more of the Komelon tapes in Metric and one with fractions. I a couple of months I will get back here and let you know how well they work under heavy use.Update: After two days of casual use, the tape no longer locks. To their credit Komelon is sending a replacement at no charge. I have two other models by this company coming in today. We shall see.Update: I received a much better working tape this time ( warranty replacement) it was in my hands with three days. The two other tapes I have received are excellent.

Go to tape measure
I have many tape measures and I find myself reaching for this one time and time again! Great value, not bulky, durable, easy to read! BTW…. I found out I’m not the only person in my household that reaches for the Komelon 16’ or 12’. Love them, buy!

Easy to operate and read
This is the only tape measure I have owned (and I have owned many) that truly locks the tape in place without slipping at various lengths. Smooth operation and easy to read tape. Great product.
