I have a tv that has 2 HDMI ports & one quit working. I thought I was out of luck & would have to keep switching the cable between my cable box & Roku, depending on what I wanted to watch, which was a pain to keep changing the cable on the back of my tv hanging on the wall. Then, someone told me about these switches. I researched a little & decided to give this one a try since it has a remote. (Btw Target only carried one, it had no remote & was $35) I am not a very technical person! It was easy to set up, even for me! The unit & remote were smaller than I expected, but that was a good thing! I had read that it didn’t come with a power source, so that confused me, but when I got it, I realized the USB cord it comes with is all you need for power! You just plug that into your tv & it supplies the power. No plugging into a wall outlet! The remote makes it simple to switch between cable box, Roku, & DVD player! Personally, I’m about 10 feet from the box, no issues! This little device is great & I highly recommend it to anyone who needs more HDMI ports.

This is a awesome product one of my HDMI ports went out and it was going to be several 100 of dollars to repair.so i ordered this device to see if it would work and it did great i would highly recommend getting it.

Worked well initially. My son had intermittent issues with it and then it just quit. He only had it 4 months. I am starting to think I need to stop buying electronics on amazon. This is the second splitter that quit working on us in a short period of time 😓

Works well for what it is. Doesn’t come with a power adapter. Just a USB. Luckily my TV had a spare port open. The lights will keep switching until you power on an HDMI device. Doesn’t work with the TV’s HDMI device detect. Picture is fine on a 65” 4K tv.

Our 3 HDMI port TV has turned into a 5 port TV with this USB powered splitter. Quality of the signal is undiminished. Our Dolby HDR TV was able to process the same 4K signal from the ROKU as before. Make sure you have a USB port on or near your TV to power this baby. Keep the plastic battery saver tab. You can resinsert it into the remote to save battery when not in use. Only nitpick for this device is that the small size make it impossible to sit flush. The tension from the HDMI cables pull it up so it sits at a slight rear raised angle. Recommended.

I like the style and design of the switch however the remote never worked unless you were about a foot in front of it. Not much value there. So I started just switching manually BUT if I use the TV remote to change the volume from across the room it switches the port you are on and I have to get back up go change it back manually. So the IR works, just not with the remote provided and randomly changes using a TV remote. Too late to return so am trashing it and finding another more reliable device.

Switches automatically when using xbox 360 to Xbox1 to tv. I don't have to get constantly to Flick a switch. Plus can use remote that comes with it also. Excellent product.
