Shock Collar with Remote - Dog Training Bark Collar – Rechargeable & Waterproof Anti Barking Device

Bought this after because it was cheaper than the control for the sport dog 105 Yard trainer.Pros: the sound is good it really calls the attention of my 1 y/o aussie. Is rechargeable and no need to change any batteries. The shoker is so strong that with >10 levels I need level 2 is enough and 3 is a lot. The previous collar I owned went to 8 and usually it will take a 7 for my dog to respond.Cons: worked well during the winter this week my dog went in the water it took maybe 1-2 times and the collar is not working anymore.Is unpractical to me that the control does not stay on, it turns off after 1-2 minutes then to make it work you have to press the front of the remote and the side of the remote to deliver the sound or shock. Non convinient since I have my dog with me off leash while I run and there is no point of using the collar if I can’t use it immediately to correct an unwanted action. The front bottom is sensitive and changes the mode from sound, vibration and shock very easy so before you press the side botton that delivers you need to make sure that your are delivering what you need. My dog has ni reaction to vibration mode even the highest level.If you are planing to train your dog in your back yard this collar will work.No practical for me: my dog does not pull on leash knows all basic commands but has a hard time resisting running after other dogs to play or chase a squirrel, since I have him off leash and I am busy running I need a collar that delivers as soon as the unwanted behavior happens. Need to have my other hand free which I use to treat/ reward my dog a lot lot lot more than correcting him.

We ordered this , was excited to use to help train our dog to control her barking and other bad habits with the use of remote control. The collar is too big! We've adjusted as small as it will go and still doesn't fit. She's a 20lb Schnoodle. We've been using just the "alarm" on remote and it does get her attention & has been helpful, but would like to have a collar that fits.

The controller broke right away but I was able to fix it. I have had the collar for over 2 years just now the shock feature is failing. This was the only way to control my dog for walks around other dogs.

My only pitfall is that the collar box sometimes shuts itself off after a while, which is frustrating when he starts barking and our remote has no effect. But when everything is on, the vibration works well! Our dogs are also so intrigued by the bird noise button. Lol.

Not sure what is going on, we have a other brand of these, and work really well. With the new pup seems to hurt her and now scared . The older dogs I tried it on similar reaction except they just laid still....will be going in the trash.

The media could not be loaded.  With this Favdog collar, my dog has improved her bad habits. We used to have to use a dog leash because our dog was not behaving very well. Now she runs freely. Whenever we want her obedience , press mode "Vibro" and she starts wiggling her tail, understanding that if she doesn't cooperate, she will get shocked. We are very pleased with this product. Highly Recommend
