Powerful Pump That Gets the Job Done
Quality Iโve used this pump to move water out of a flooded basement area and later to drain a small pond, and the overall quality feels solid. The housing doesnโt feel cheap, and it handled dirty water with small debris without any issues. It feels like something built for actual utility use, not just occasional light jobs. Ease of Use Setup was simple. I plugged it in, attached the hose, and it was ready to go. The manual operation is straightforward, and the power cord length was enough for my setup without needing an extension right away. Performance The pumping speed is strong and noticeably fast. It moved a large amount of water in a short time, which saved me a lot of effort compared to smaller pumps Iโve tried before. It stayed stable while running and didnโt overheat during longer use. Value For the power youโre getting, this feels like good value for money. It performs on par with more expensive utility pumps and handled both clean and dirty water without a problem. Overall, itโs a reliable, powerful pump that works well for draining, transferring water, and handling tougher jobs when needed.

Great little pump
Works great, moves a lot of water, used adapters for 2" discharge hose 309ft, pumped an overflowed retention pond down 12 " from deluge of rain , would recommend, no float so be mindful of not letting it run dry

Amazing pump
I have an in ground pool and the speed of this pump draining the water was incredible. It drained every bit of 10,000 gals in less than 3 hours. I was skeptical at first, i read a lot of reviews and I decided to get it. It didnโt disappoint.

Great Pump
Very impressive performance - especially when using it with. 1.5โ hose. Starts to push water quickly. Minimal noise. Used it for almost 4 days straight with our recent NorEaster and it worked like a champ!

Amazing pump
This pump is a beast, I was skeptical at first because I have flooding in my basement I thought I needed to wait for the 5" min for water for form as stated in the instructions but when looking again you can prime it at 1/2" which is a game changer. I didn't want to let the water get worse before using it so I started the pump and withing about 15 seconds the water started flowing hard out of the hose ( I just used a garden hose). Basement was dry in minutes. 100% worth it, now I dont have to risk water damage of my appliances anymore until I can get this issue fixed. Great pump 100% recommend to anyone looking for one. Easy to use, love it.

Work ok. Donโt recommend it for heavy heavy jobs.
Works well, they only complaint would be that one of the wires broke inside was able to fix, but I did run it pretty much for three days straight cleaning out a dirty pool so it may have just been my circumstances

Perfect sump pump for pool draining, it moves the water it claims to! She's a beast.
The only negative is the 10 ft cord, even 15 or 20 would have been much better. Positives? Well I cant believe it but I not only think this thing can do 4800 gallons per hour I actually think it does more! Its amazing. It can drain my pool faster than the huge rentals I usually use. First I tried it with one of those small metal hoses that have a smaller diameter than a normal garden hose. Unit worked and was quiet despite sitting mostly out of the water and pushing water through a straw basically, it took 6 hours to lower the pool an inch. Then I took a 1 1/2 inch blue pool draining hose and just zip tied it to this unit. I could not believe it, I have to actually sit with this thing its so powerful. You can almost watch the pool level dropping in the pool! 5-10 minutes it did what the little hose took 4-6 hours to do. Only issue was the water could not seep into the ground fast enough, if not running to sewer you really have to baby sit this beast. This thing is sleek looking, not that it matters but also feels like its built solid. It comes with a decent range of adapters. Its really meant to have a 1 1/2 hose strapped to it in order to really take advantage of this beast. For reference my backwash drain is out of action so I got this to drain my pool from the top to lower CYA levels. Only star I knock off is for the 10 ft cord. Some pools are 8 feet deep. You just have to be careful and keep that junction with the extension cord out of the water. I cant say anything about reliability yet but if you are wondering if it can really move that much water, what it claims to? Yes it does. Just pick up a 1 1/2 inch hose, make sure its long enough as this thing really moves water. Noise level? What noise level, you can barely hear it out of the water.

Garbage Pump
3 replacement pumps for my water feature pump all because of the same issue - the pump overheats (short circuits internally) and trips the breaker and there is no repair possible. At least the breaker is doing it's job for safety purposes. Don't buy this piece of junk. Website phone numbers don't work and there is zero customer support. Tried another brand pump so will see how that works out.

This stuff is legit
I just had a flood in the basement. So I ordered this Water Pump the next day to drain the basement. And my god, it's so much faster and better. Extremely convenient. It beats any manual labor I had to do the day prior. It doesn't come with a hose and I recommend those who do to get the 100ft hose expandable hose (it's too short unexpanded) in order to extend from basement to outside. There is no on/off on this model. As soon as you plug into the outlet it starts draining. Pretty straight forward.

small, light and surprisingly powerful
I had the misfortune of having the basement recently flooded so I bought this as an emergency portable pump before installing a fixed permanent sump pump. I bought a 1.5" discharge hose of 50 feet to go along with it (reviewed as well). I tried the pump yesterday in a storage bin of 64 litres that I filled up with clean water. I connected the hose, slowly sank the pump in the water to get the air out and plugged it in. It took exactly 24 seconds for the bin to be almost empty (about 3/4 of an inch of water left in the bottom) from the time I plugged the pump in the electric outlet. I thought that was pretty impressive for such a small portable device. I hope it will come in handy if I need it. It has a good sized handle to it that is not flimsy. I like that as well. I believe a 1.5" hose is the largest one can use with this pump so if you use a garden hose, expect poorer performance as the hose size will make a lot of difference in how much water it can move. Another feature that made me buy this pump amongst all the other similar offerings on Amazon is that the cord is 25 feet ! That's a very smart move by Foting. Most brands give you between 15-20 feet electric cord and sometimes less. With a device like this or any other that has to come in contact with water, I'd rather not use an extension so having 25 feet of length gives me a lot of options to connect it directly to an outlet. Although this thing is rather small, it draws 900 watts of power (something to think about if you want to use it with a generator). If there is only one thing I would improve it would be the user manual. It has lots of safety precautions but very little to say about the operation of the pump itself. No worries as there are plenty of videos on Ytube to point you in the right direction. For 75$ bucks with the Amazon rebate I can't ask for more.

Poor plastic fittings
The cheap plastic fitting that screws on the outlet has poor threading and keeps popping off. Now I have to go to hardware store and pick up glue that will prevent that. I even tried thread tap to no avail. For the short time I used it the pump seemed ok but who knows.

Impressive for the price
Seems to be a well built pump with an outstanding flow rate for the price. Only concern is the plastic NPT threads. Be aware of thread incompatibility of NPT vs NST if connecting to a 1-1/2โ discharge hose. These large diameter discharge hoses with aluminium fittings are often NST threads whereas this pump is NPT 1-1/2" and you will need an adapter. No issue if using a garden hose but definitely need 3/4โ ID garden hose to take advantage of pump flow rate.
