I would say the best metal model kit
I've ordered a few metal kits from piececool brand and loved each one of them. The ship is a higher difficulty with lots of small parts to put together. Takes time to put them together but once you have it all together the ship looks great. I loved taking the time to put it together, I am happy with the results and plan to buy more from the company. The item is great for people who like to use model kits, of course the small parts will be harder to manipulate so I suggest being careful as to not break them and also not drop them (work at a desk with some sort of protection at the edges in case you drop a piece else you may not find it again).

Great model, but requires lots of patience
This was my first metal model. Firstly - even though it says no tool required, don't even attempt it. You NEED the proper tools to build this. Luckily I bought the tools ahead of time. I soon found out that the parts are so small that a good magnifier of some sort is beneficial. So I bought a magnifying ring light which made a huge difference. Highly recommend one of those, or a head mounted jewelers magnifier. The parts are very fragile. You need to really make sure you understand every bend in the instructions because if you bend the wrong way, you likely will break the part when you attempt to bend back the other way (I had to use super glue to fix parts 5 times). The hull is super hard to get the right shape, and there's lots of stuff attaching to it so it must be correct or other stuff won't align. There are some parts that get ridiculously monotonous though - like building 18 canons, each canon is made of 3 separate parts, each part has to be hand bent into specific shape. So that is 54 parts that have to be shaped, which becomes a tedious process that makes you feel so glad when you get those done LOL It really tests your patience! But if you just go slow, take your time, complete focus... Making this becomes a very zen like hobby. Hours would just fly by as I worked on this. I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent building it. I have already committed to building more metal models in the future. It's a great hobby.

Time consuming, very thin metal, love the result, but won't do it again.
I usually don't leave written reviews but this is what I'll say. This piece looks amazing after its finished and feels solid and tied in. That took a lot of little bends, twists, and maneuvers. I have rookie experience with gundam kits. This by far was way more difficult and time consuming. It took 9 hours to get halfway done to around step 18. And another 12 to get through to the last step which is like step 38. The metal is very thin and can snap if bent too many times. After being careful and crafty I was able to complete the full piece even if some tabs were broken off. I ended up buying and using the piececool tool set with the clippers and long nose pliers. These are mini tools but were absolutely necessary in my opinion. Small scissors and tweezers will do the job too but the tool set is built well. That being said, I probably will never attempt one of these again as it is incredibly time consuming. I had it sitting on my shelf for a while and decided to just knock it out on my off days. Great piece. Won't do it again. I'll just admire other pieces from afar.

Very small parts
I had to use a magnifine glass to assemble. Some parts were so small my tweezers wouldn't even fit to assemble. I loved the detail and it was my first ever kit. It was fun to make. Just a fair warning, it is very small, detailed work. I didn't like the stand that came with it. It isn't very stable for the ship to sit on. Overall it was great fun and looks great for my first build.

Cool puzzle
It took me a week to build this ship, every day few hours after work. You will need magnifying glasses to finish it, some pieces are very small. Overall nice experience

A good test of skill
Always got the little ones from stores in town but tried my skill on this, details and colors are amazing and the sails have a texture to them which ads flair. Only got the top half done and will update when finished, itโs also a decent size metal model. Instructions are clear and they include a parts chard page so I will definitely but another model from the same company.

Beautiful when finished
This was my 40th "Metal Model" to put together. It was indeed challenging, but not impossible obviously. With any of these type of projects, patience is the key. That and the proper tools. With this particular series I would HIGHLY suggest investing in the jeweler type tools they sell here on Amazon. You will find them invaluable to get things done right. The only other thing I used was a toothpick to wrap the small canon pieces around to get the right shape and have them fit the slots perfectly. This piece took me roughly 14hours from start to finish. Now I'm on to the Queen Anne's Revenge!

Love it
Very hard but worth it

Very poor quality
The product is of very poor quality. When I try to assemble it, the mounting brackets break because they are very weak and small. I've purchased several different models, and they're all of poor quality.
