These are soft and do not pull out much hair. They also do not pull hair while in even though they are nice and tight around the ponytail. They are soft to the touch and highly recommended for curly hair.

i dont have super thin or thick hair, mine is in between but it’s really frizzy and normal hair ties break or are too loose. these are so amazing, i’m able to twist it 4 times around my ponytail instead of 3 with other hair ties and it’s soooooo secure which is great because i work as a server and i can’t really have my hair looking unprofessional or worse, falling in the food. i will continue to buy these i just wish they came with more in the pack

I really needed to change that hair tie I used because I was losing a handful of hair with every bun and pony tail hair style. I have thick curly hair and nee to use normally really strong with the rubbed hair ties. These are really nice I was surprised at how strong they are. I only have to loop it twice around my hair. After a day of wearing a ponytail my hair hasnt moved plus I did't rip out a ton of hair. I am never going back to the other hair ties.

I use these bands around my wrists when I was my face to keep water from running down my arms. They work well for this. I do not have long or thick hair, so cannot speak to their use as ponytail holders.

These aren't the worst hair ties I've used, but ... They're not exactly what I wanted/needed. They're bigger than most ties I've seen/tried to date, and they are soft. But my super thick, long hair still gets snarled when using these. So, the takeaway: I'm still looking for a great hair tie for my long, thick, curly hair.

Every other hair tie snaps on me or doesn’t go around enough times to feel like my ponytail is secure. I’ve had these for a few months now and I’m still on the first one I tried- none have broken and my ponytail is always secure enough to work out or do whatever and it doesn’t become loose. My hair is super thick and these can manage it lol.

Like them a lot. They feel great in my hair and don't yank out any hair. The downside is that it attracts hair....especially pet hair. Hard to get the hairs off

These hairbands are the exact type that would be £1 in a pound shop. Or 99p. They are the nylon kind, not the cotton (sweatband material) that I was hoping for, but that's my fault. They are 1.5cm wide (little finger width), rather than the 2.5cm wide ones that I thought they were from the picture. These narrow ones do get tangled more in thick or long hair. They are very soft. But the nylon ones always lose their elasticity so quickly compared to the cotton ones. I'll use them but £4.99 is a JOKE and the joke's on you if you buy them.

These are great, I have very thick long hair and these are perfect, only need one band to tie it all up where normally I would need multiple, have purchased more than once, great product !

I have thick hair and struggled to locate thick, tough hairbands from the high Street. I have used this for several weeks now and the product is very tough. I would purchase them again.

Love these!I literally buy nothing else now - they don't leave any indentation in your hair and have great hold - I have thick, curly hair and usually have to wind round elastic bands quite tight to keep it up in the right place which hurts and of course hair usually gets tangled quite easily. Recommend these for any curly haired women.

I have SUPER thick, long hair - these are the best. They keep their stretch and hold my hair up the whole day and never loosens.
