J Bryant Neck Harness Head - Weight Lifting with Resistance Tube Bands - Door Anchor Set Adjustable Neck Training Strap Exercise Equipment

I had a 20 inch neck when I played football and powerlifted through school and college, and now at the age of 59 I have the dreaded turkey neck even though I'm lean everywhere else, lol. So I bought this to see if I can tighten up the skin by toning up the neck muscles. Also I do BJJ, so it's good to have a strong neck anyway. I think the construction is just fine. Seems very durable. My head circumference is 22 inches, so the MD is perfectly snug. As far as people complaining about no instructions, just YouTube or Google search some physical therapy or BJJ neck exercises. I would not however attach weights, just my opinion. The band provides plenty of resistance. When using the forehead hook, I also would not lift my chin up, but rather pull my chin "in."

Overall quality is ok. It’s a bit cumbersome to put on and takes a little practice. The very first thing that broke off was the little rubber chin cup when I tried sliding it into position on the strap, but missing that part doesn’t really prevent it from working as intended. For the price its worth it, just don’t have expectations that are to high.

This will work, but I returned it due to how uncomfortable I found it and that if you get a set of resistance bands, you can do what this does much more practically. It does work, so I will not slam it. I just did not find it to be worth the money.

I liked the look of this product online, with the extra d-rings in front and back. I knew I wasn't paying top dollar for the best here, but these are simple products. Why pay $90 for the best when it's still just a piece of nylon strap? So I purchased this one for the extra attachment points, even though I already have one (made by Jayefo, and actually cheaper than this one). Well, this one is a bit confusing to put on, and then I feel like the guy from Big Trouble in Little China with the chin strap, and I look like I'm wearing some kind of BDSM thing. No big deal, I'm training from home so who cares. Then it's scratchy on my forehead, like I have the scratchy side of velcro there even though I don't. If I use the back attachment point, half the reason I bought it, it actually just pulls the harness off my head. I ended up just moving those dangler extensions from the side of this one to my other one. I can use the d-rings for my leather projects, and the elastic band and door anchor for something else. This thing is good for scrap, not for actual use. If you want a head harness cheap, I would recommend the Jayefo one long before this one. These are the only two I own, so I can't speak about other brands.

(see pics & video) I haven't used it, but upon taking it out of the box, it has a noticeable, I guess rubber smell to it that is still offgassing two weeks after letting it sit out of the box. The chin guard is really tiny and thin (couldn't possibly last long) almost like for a child, and the Velcro that straps the chin guard around your chin has really sharp, melted edges.
