I purchased the PumpFuse WiFi Sump Pump monitor in September 2025 and have been using it for a few months. I am genuinely impressed with the unit because of the level of information the application provides on the activity of my sump pump. Originally, I was using a Kasa smart switch, but I became concerned about the safety of that switch due to the frequency of the on/off switching of my pump as well as the high power draw each time it cycles. The PumpFuse switch has been performing flawlessly, and my stress level is under control because the PumpFuse has an excellent array of notifications in the event trouble is encountered. I'm also impressed by the development engineering expertise with regard to the App. The user interface is well designed, easy to use and has a mind-blowing set of features and controls. Great job PumpFuse team!

Excellent products and software. Highly recommended with sump or sewage pumps. The Fridge sensor is perfect for Garage Freezers. Easy install and highly reliable.

So glad I decided on the PumpFuse WiFi Sump Pump Monitor & Protector. Setting up Wi-Fi was a matter of typing in my Wi-Fi password and it quickly connected. I was having sump pump problems for a few weeks during a very rainy month and was relying on my battery back up system during that time. After finally getting a new main pump installed I wanted to know when and if my main sump pump was working so I purchased the PumpFuse device. So glad I did. The software is great. I get notifications that let me know when the pump comes on, goes off, how much current was drawn, etc. Having this tool keeps me from worrying and wondering if my sump pump is working or not. Love it!

this is a wonderful device. it allows me to monitor my sump pump with excellent notifications and worst case, i can shut it down if i need to (which i did b/c the float was stuck once). setup was a breeze. Just plugged it in and connected to the app. after that, i had to mess with all the settings, which have taken me a few months, but that should be normal as everyone has different ground conditions. best part was i able to turn off the sump entirely when it was running for too long (which the app told me). i came home and found the float was stuck. this prompted me to test the sump/float every three months to make sure it is working all the time. only thing i wish is it would integrate with homekit as a sensor so i could see it within my home app (or as a Matter device). fingers crossed this will be a new feature.

I need to know when my pump is running, for how long, and the frequency it turns on. The pump is the weak link in the whole septic process and its failure could mean disaster. The thought of its failure kept me up at night while out of town. This device's app provides notification of when the pump turns on/off, time it operates, power usage, long term frequency of operation and more. You can also set notifications for abnormal pumping behaviors. The app was easy to connect to the device and its been running great for over a week. I wish I had known about it long before. It works fine for my application. There are instruction videos on YouTube on how to navigate the app. Much of the app functions are relatively intuitive. There are no hard copy users' manuals. Just understand that it wouldn't work unless you have wifi/router in your home.

So far I really like this unit as compared to the pumpspy. There are several user configurable alerts, which the pumpspy does not have, along with several metrics that are selectable and presented visually via bar graphs. The unit dowloaded the latest firmware after connecting it to my home network, which is something the pumpspy has never done to my knowledge, and I’ve owned it for over a year. You can also download the data, but not sure that’s needed with all the comparison data that is available on the app. My sump pump recent failed, and I was not able to detect that via the pumpspy without the float switch installed. This unit, having several alerts that you can configure yourself, would have identified the problem much sooner. The excess run time is exactly what you would need to identify a stuck float. My pump runs consistently at 4-5 seconds each time. I’ve set the excess run time to 15 seconds, which would indicate the float stuck and the pump was not triggered for a few cycles. I also set the expected run time at 30 seconds since the pump runs about every 18 seconds. Only thing this is missing is a float switch, but not sure you would need one with all the configurable alerts. For ease of use and data analysis, this is a winner. Plug it in and set your alerts, which are adjustable if your pump runs less or more often based on the time of year.

This pump monitor and associated app are absolutely top notch: Works exactly as represented, easy to install, and provides immediately notifications via the internet for our distant home. We are a residential (not commercial) user and installed the monitor on two new sump pumps in our recently flooding basement. No incidents until this week when we had a flood: 300 pump cycles every 10-30 minutes. The notifications were detailed and immediate. When you have a home 3000 miles away, this reliability and ease of use is so reassuring. Great produce, exactly as advertised.

I just “installed” this late this afternoon! I was cautiously hopeful. We have a sump pit/pump in our back yard that pulls/drains water from under the house. (The house is built on a spring). The pit is about 40-yards from the house. During the rainy seasons, it runs almost constantly. If it were to go out, the basement would flood. Two years ago, I was using Pump Spy, which I loved but then we changed internet companies and I could not get the device to connect to WIFI. I was very nervous without any feedback from the pump. Last week I discovered PumpFuse ! I read reviews and decided to try it. Oh my goodness! It is sooooo impressive. I downloaded the app. Plugged the device into an outlet in my kitchen. Easily connected it to our WIFI then took it out to the pump in the back yard. I plugged in, plugged the sump pump into it and VOILA!!! It connected and started giving me readings right away. The default settings work well for me…I changed nothing. Check out the picture to see how crazy that water situation is. I love this thing!!! And it’s so reasonably priced. This device and the app is a game changer! Had this for 7 months now! I cannot say enough good things about it. It is reliable. I cannot say enough always see how much water we are pumping from under the house and how it compares each day. It is so helpful. If the sump pump in our backyard dies, our basement will get water. This little device always keeps me informed. I highly recommend the Pump Fuse monitoring devise!!!!

I’ve worked with many I.T. related devices for over 30 years. I can say that this device is one of the best engineered products I’ve ever used. Most importantly, the functionality of the app and the device itself are not lacking for anything and are well thought out for every sump pump monitoring situation. And from my research, it’s also the only product of its kind on the market. It’s easy and straight forward to setup. Plug it in; download the app, connect to your WiFi, hit firmware update when prompted, set your preferred alarms in the app settings with a few taps…and that’s it! All this took less than 5 minutes! The manufacturer also has excellent support via email if needed. I contacted the company to check on a few of the network specifications (as I do with all devices that I put on my network). I received clear and well explained answers in less than 5 hours! There are 1 or 2 reviews that feel its limited connection to only 2.4GHZ WiFi is a negative. It’s NOT. It’s designed that way purposely because 2.4GHZ is the most reliable WiFi signal over long distances that may have many obstructions (as opposed to 5GHZ). It’s a well thought out positive. It only needs a minuscule bit off bandwidth and it does not need 5GHZ. Obviously, you’re not streaming movies on this device! All routers are dual band regardless so there is no issue either way. In addition, support confirmed via email that the unit communicates with servers in the USA which is important (although most people are unaware about the concerns of I.O.T. devices outside the US). As far as I.O.T. devices, it’s as secure as it gets. The only recommendation that I have, is to connect the device to a “guest WiFi” if you have the option but it’s not critical. Any 2.4GHZ WiFi option on your router is fine. I’ve used the device for a few weeks now and thoroughly tested almost all of it’s functionality. It does exactly what exactly what the manufacturer says it will do without any issues of any kind. It offers peace of mind that your sump pump is operating and stores the data to show you how well it’s operating amongst other details. I can honestly say, EVERY HOME that has a sump pump should have one of these devices. I even think all insurance companies should know about this product and inform home owners about how to get one. So that’s my review and my advice is…don’t hesitate, buy one now and enjoy the peace of mind! It’s worth every penny!

This is a great product. I depend heavily on my sump pump & have had the misfortune of a completely flooded basement due to power outage. This device works perfectly. I get notifications at will. The graphics, comparative data, ability to set notifications etc. meets all my needs. I can readily determine whether my sump pump is functioning, frequency of use, how long it stayed on for each time it is activated, determine whether it has burnt out. During Spring thaw when pump is frequently functioning you can easily spot a power failure, or pump malfunction based on push notifications and real time data analysis. I would have sufficient time to replace my sump pump if it fails given this device. Very pleased with product. I sleep better at night when I am away. Highly recommend. I am considering adding this device to other equipment.

L installation est tres simple , deux vis au mur et on branche le fil de la pompe dans cet appareil puis dans l electricité . On download l application et l instation est simple , il suffit de mettre son mot de passe wi fi pour qu il puisse reconnaitre ton appareil. Dans le programme , on peut mettre des alarmm s , voir consommation (watts) .. fonctionne bien a date ! Je le recommande pour ceux qui ont des pompes !
