Tempur-Pedic Protect Waterproof Mattress Protector, Twin XL, White

A little shorter than a year ago my wife and I purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress to alleviate some health issues she has. The place we bought it from supplied us with some third-party protector that we had to use in order to claim a '30-day money back guarantee' from them if we didn't like the mattress. To be honest, it wasn't the worst protector ever but you could tell it was out of place for this mattress and it constantly shifted under the sheets. I finally had decided to get a new one and found this for a surprisingly great price (about 40% cheaper then direct from the manufacturer) and I do not regret it. It is much more comfortable, helps to dissipate body heat better and hugs the matters much more tightly and rarely shifts around. The materials are a much higher quality, what you would expect from a big name like Tempur-Pedic. Overall its a great investment to protect your mattress while providing the same comfort and coolness the mattress offers.

Works great. Has a nice liner to prevent moisture from getting on your mattress. The best part is, it isn't plastic so it doesn't make noise when you lay down on it. The fabric portion is very soft. The pockets for the corners are very deep and it goes under the mattress so you don't feel like it is going to pop off. I had purchased one a few years ago when I bought my mattress so this is a replacement for that one. That tells you it works great and if you take care of it properly, it will last a long time.

This is a great protector other than it does not fit a bunches up in the middle. I have 2 sets of the straps for the corners and down the middle and it still bunches up. I did call and they told me they only sold a universal fit so I assume it does not fit any mattress. I love my Temp-pedic mattress but the cover is not good.

When I bought my Tempurpedic Luxe Breeze mattress, the salesperson recommended their on-site mattress cover, which I purchased without given any thought. It had a plastic crinkle, it was hot, and my sheets slid across it annoyingly. It was actually impeding the performance of my expensive new mattress. After one week, I bit the bullet and ordered the Tempurpedic mattress protector and I’m so glad that I did. It’s soft, high quality, clings better to the fitted sheet, and keeps me cooler. Lives up to the promise and didn’t cost any more money than the inferior quality protector I bought at the time of purchase at the mattress store.

I have a TempurPedic Cloud and bought a mattress protector when I bought it that was waterproof. But it wasn't allowing the mattress to breath which causes it to offer less support (makes the bed softer) even though it was advertised as breathable. I always noticed when I washed it my bed was firmer at first then got softer in time. Didn't realize it until I removed it for washing and slept in my bed a week without it that it seemed to be the protector. What a difference without it. But I really want waterproof protection to keep the mattress clean. I got this one because it is a TempurPedic and it says it is breathable with temperature adjustment. Also, it is on sale. Disappointed, it doesn't fit tight and notice on some of the other reviews this is an issue. I have decided to try it a few nights to see if it will stay tucked in with the sheets on, and so far so good. It is very comfortable, still deciding if it is breathable. I may return it if it doesn't have the results I want.
