Exactly what I was looking for. Read review for help on making a decision
Exactly what I was looking for! I needed a stand to hold my laptop up so that my lap was free for writing notes/better neck angle/easy to leave recliner. Originally I tried an over the lap desk thing but it was hard to get out and found that it felt like my legs were confined. With this I can leave the recliner easily with the two points of 360rotation(as shown in two photos that I am pointing). Also bonus is that I can use it as a music stand since I have a few instruments. Another bonus was that the height is adjustable (top of pole is the max height). You can also remove the clear page holder/laptop holding flaps thingy with a screw driver if you really don't want it. I kept mine. As shown in photo , my laptop fits in it and it will fit bigger stuff. I feel like my thick calculus book would fit but I haven't tried/needed it for that.My recommendations for potential buyers:Measure first to see if it fits the height/arm length you need! As shown in the photo, the arm length worked out perfectly for what I needed but I did have to move the stand around the arm rest so it would reach. Also be sure to check if it can fit under the couch/bed if you want that option. Some couches has a bar for stability that prevent insertion of this stand so check beforehand. Like the middles of my couch has a bar so I could only stick it under the side. The actual arm connection (the photo with the yellow arrow drawn) to the stand does not rotate either. Which is fine for me since there are two other points of rotation (shown in the two photos where I am pointing). I found that this design made it more stable instead of having it be able to fully rotate there. Also be sure to tighten the screw at the base(photo with highlighted circle). I thought I did at first but then noticed it tilting slightly until I screwed it in until the screw wasn't sticking out anymore. My concern with this item:Only major concern I have is that the 180 rotation of the actual desk part is controlled by this hex thing (shown in the last photo). Basically you are able to freely move and adjust the angle of this stand without twisting any screws or pressing stuff (like a normal generic music stand)But, how well the stand stays at that position depends on how you tighten or loosen this big hex screw when you set up the stand(the last photo shown). You can easily tighten it again later but I am worried that over time it will loosen up so much that it won't hold an angle. This happens all the time to regular music stands so I'll see how this one holds up :) I don't plan to adjust it alot so hopefully it lasts awhile. I'll update after a few months if I have issues with this. First date of receiving item is Dec 10, 2022.Update: it's feb 11th now and I absolutely still love the stand. I actually ordered another one for the other side of the couch. Another thing I did notice is that since it's a V style base, the stand could loose balance and tip if it gets hit away from the V shape so to fix that I weigh the base down with something or if it's under my couch, I fill in the gap between the base of the stand and the bottom of the couch with books so it's like pinned in place(this is only an issue for me because I have a recliner so one of the legs is free to be lifted as you can see in the photo of the recliner lifted. This may not be an issue if you stick both legs under a normal couch). When I use the stand to hold music I don't need to worry about weighting it down because the sheet music/ipad is light and I'm facing it directly so it's never a problem. It's only when I use it to hold my laptop so I can write in my lap that I worry about accidentally tipping it over when I rotate it. Still the best/most comfortable out of all the options I tried for the couch/recliner.I've never tried it for a bed and honestly don't think it'll work well with a bed because it doesn't rotate at the pole(the photo with the yellow arrow drawn shows which part I mean) but it could work if that is not a problem for you. Also I think a stand with rollers would work better for a bed for ease of moving it away. This base is flat which is perfect for couches / chairs in general.

Really helped my neck.
I have a bad neck and it gets worse when I read in an armchair as my neck is flexed in a downward position. After using this stand for a week or 2 my neck gradually improved and now I have a second one for another room in the house, It can be a little temperamental when trying to adjust the position but it's not horrible. Also be careful when moving it if you stand up from your seat. Depending on how you placed the feet, it can fall over and it's heavy enough to damage some things

Customizable swivel lift and tilt features.
Perfect!! I bought this product because I like to make jewelry and didn’t like having to look down and strain my neck. This is perfect for the recliner where you can relax crafting with your hands at eye level. It also fits in small spaces. Love it. It also has an awesome book holder feature if you are reading directions for crafting or reading books. So glad someone invented this wonderful desk with stand that is customizable with swivel lift and tilt features. They thought it out thoroughly!!!!

Avoid if you’re above average height
Chose this floor stand version so I could put it behind my desk and put my laptop on it while using my under-desk walking pad. But it’s way too short for that - may as well have gotten a desktop version, except I didn’t want to lose desktop space. Not even tall enough to use standing unless you don’t mind a great view of your nostrils for other Zoom call participants. I’m only 5’9”, so not sure who this product is meant for.

99% Perfect!
This seems to be exactly what my wife needed. She likes to curl up in her recliner across from the fireplace and read a LOT of books. I noticed that her posture when reading wasn't very good for her back so I ordered this book holder so she wouldn't have to twist sideways or lean forward. It works perfectly for her needs and it seems well built, a little heavier duty than I expected. The only negative is that the arms holding the pages are not more adjustable of different size books. A slide across the bottom for the arms would be helpful but all in all I would recommend this to a friend.
