I have an African Grey that sometimes spews pellets on the cage floor, and we are planning a one-week trip. While a neighbor will be looking in on our bird once or twice daily, I wanted to install a more secure pellet source. Bird feeders would not fit on the wider bars of our bird's large cage, so I bought this mammal feeder. I found, however, that the slot on the chute could not fit over the bars, and neither could the two securing plastic knurled nuts. Dremel tool to the rescue. With care, I was able to enlarge all three of these slots and secure the feeder to the cage. Just to let you know that if you are having trouble identifying a feeder for a large bird, this (and Dremel) will do the job.

I like these better than bottles, I use a bowl of water. Since it's very hot here I put these auto water containers in my rabbit and roosters cage. One rabbit nibbled on the plastic, other one didn't.

We have Guinea pigs and the water bowl and bottle worked well together. Easy to refill. However, I’m not sure if it is just our Guinea pigs or maybe all of them but the water in the bowl always turned filthy before the bottle ever needed refilling. I would say great for larger animals but not so great for smaller animals that put their paws on the lip to get to the water.

Our little Guinea pig loves to eat, so this was a no brainer purchase! Originally purchased when we were planning a weekend trip, but now it’s used daily. Easy to install, easy to load, & easy to clean.

The quality is not there, not even for $20+ but it does work well. Thank goodness for the 2 points that you screw onto the cage because one wouldn’t work. The threads where you screw were not threaded correctly so when I tried to screw the cap piece on it just ground the plastic and almost got stuck. I switched it with the other cap and had better luck. Luckily it doesn’t have to be removed to refill or even clean our Guinea pigs cage.

Didn’t fit either of our cages. Good concept but lacks execution. Better if connector was smaller to fit multiple size grates

My wife is different Rabbits. It seems fine for small or dwarf size rabbits. Not for full size, rabbits or larger.

Great product! It works so well, we have 7 guinea pigs who all use to fight over their food. Now their food lasts 3-4 days longer and we don't have to worry about it too often. One mini downside, this really just depends on the type of pellets you put in the container but sometimes the food gets stuck, just shake it a little and it will go back to normal.

My rabbit likes to throw his food bowl around so it could be a challenge getting his bowl at feeding times. Love this food dispenser that secures onto the cage and I can add food from the outside. Especially if I’m in a hurry in the mornings. Though I don’t add more food than his portion per meal as there is not mechanism to stop food from dispensing. My rabbit adjusted really quickly and had no issues with it. Loving it!
