Seller shipped the item WAY faster than I thought it would get here and the item was in fantastic conditioning. Though the item itself is rugged enough to take a lot of abuse I was really pleased with how professionally and quickly everything was handled. Love the coat, just wishe3d i had listened to other reviews and gotten one size smaller. It fits ok but it feels to big on me. People like it and they say it looks good on but i just dont feel all that great in it. Dont get me wrong, its really warm and water resistant. Had to hose it down twice to get rid of the smell from the oil they use to water proof it. I would defiantly purchase another one if i could find someone who this jacket will fit. Im a big guy, 6'00 250lbs and the XXLarge fits to big on me. XLarge would have been more than enough.

Overall great coat. Fiance can't stop wearing it and it looks amazing on him. Good get for the price. Excellent shipping time and overall good shopping experience.

I've had Drover cats, about five over the past years. They can be challenging to own and care for as compared to other coats and jackets but the Drover is one of the most versatile garments I've ever owned with the exception of my M-65 field jacket, the latter I've had for nearly 25 years before it was too worn to be used in public. These Drovers are pretty much a 3 season coat, only not being useful in the heat of summer. It's as rain-proof, wind-proof and weather-proof as you can get and in the winter and cold times, it will definitely keep you warm and shielded from the elements. My previous job required me to be outside in all kinds of weather and all kinds of temperatures and my Drover was well worth its weight in gold! The Oilskin Drover (2X-Large, Brown)

Excellent quality coat. Husband loves it. Beware... the fabric will tear a little easier than you could imagine if you hang it on something. I wore it myself during a bitter cold snap a couple of weeks ago. It flapped around, hung on the striker to the shop door, and tore in a tidy L shape in back. I was surprised it tore that easily, tbh. I'm hoping I can patch it. Would still recommend and still buy again. Did not notice any foul 'smell'. It smelled like clean motor oil and it was not strong. I'm not sure what people who buy an oilskin coat are expecting - its oil tanned, folks. Yes, it will smell like a petroleum product when its brand new.

I got this for my boyfriend who always wanted a trenchcoat. He walks a mile to, (and then from) work every day. Keeps him warm, and dry. Unfortunately his legs don't fit in the straps that are supposed to keep it secured on windy days. Couldn't be happier with the quality. Should be noted that this is NOT leather or even a vinyl. It is canvas that has been treated with an oil to make it water resistant. Of course if you look closely at the picture and do your homework you will know this. However, I believe when I bought it the product description said "leather" for the material. I don't want anyone to be surprised or disappointed.

I ordered this coat as a "costume" piece for the part of Joseph in a contemporary version of the Christmas story. It was perfect! I previously ordered other pieces for the same production from Down Under and was very pleased with quality, prices, and customer service. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend the company.

I’m a big guys so was expecting that it would fit a little loose. However, after wearing it for a few days, it fits so well. I’m looking forward to using this jacket for a long time. Thank you again.

my dad loves this thing. I got it for him for chrismas and it is amazing. I had to send it back for a different size which was a pain but they sent me another one just as soon as they got the first one back. I plan to order me one soon. very good waterproofing by itself. Not that it needed it but I went ahead and added some more anyways because i believe in overkill. great coat, warm and waterproof.
