Superb value for money and as I like a wide fit footwear these fitted the bill perfectly
Superb value for money and as I like a wide fit footwear these fitted the bill perfectly. Good quality and nice and light.Ive been using them for work for a couple of months now and find them to be the right size as advertised and aireyto the foot allowing very little sweating. The only area they could of improved on would be to have a more softer insole. The toe caps are composite not steel but I wanted a light shoe so that's the trade off.Ive now had these for 13 months and they have worn well, I added elastic laces which if like me you have to take work shoes off and on a fair bit are a great addition. Elastic laces can be found on Amazon as well.If this review has been helpful in any way please click the yes helpful icon.

Safety trainers
So far these have been fine. I've used them for two weeks of 12 hr shifts. The soles are quite thin so I don't see much protection for nails or such like, not a problem for me. I've used gel insoles from a well known supermarket to ease the pressure of 12 hrs on my feet. They already show wear on the toe caps as I do a fair bit of kneeing down and the toes scuff on the catwalks. See picture

I'd buy them again...
Very comfortable for wearing around a workshop all day, and being composite are definitely lighter than steel capped trainers. You don't feel like Coco the clown with a big floppy weight on the end of your foot! Nice and flexible, and so far resistant to most of the chemicals/thinners that have been spilt on them. My only criticism is that they come up a bit big, so if you are more of a 10.5, go for a 10, rather than a (Merrell) 11.

Excellent quality, comfortable and durable.
Amblers are my safety footwear of choice due to their comfort and longevity. These trainers are great for wide feet, they are comfortable and stylish....and very well made. My last pair lasted several years of heavy use, the laces are extremely durable, eventually the trainers developed a hole in the sole as I walk a lot on gravel and stones...but there was no separation of sole from the body of the shoe, I never needed to replace the laces, and there were no splits or any degradation of the uppers. So naturally I bought another pair!

Good work shoes.
Good shoes, I've worn them of a few jobs now and they fit well. I do find the soles could be a bit more flexible, but that's safety footwear for you. With some good gel insoles these are comfortable all day.I'd buy them again.

The best thing about them is that they are not a ...
Slightly lighter than my other work-boots which were light anyway. The best thing about them is that they are not a tight fit around aching feet, because these straps at the sides relax around your foot. Also, they are between a boot, and a trainer, so when you look at them from above you don't see the yellow sponge that makes them look like a trainer, they look more like a boot at certain angles.UPDATE: Buy a size smaller, my size 8 measure at least 1 size bigger, maybe even a 10.
