Must-read for educators seeking to grow
Kirschner, Hendrick, and Heal (all three noted experts in the field) manage to synthesize the most impactful research about teaching in such a way that every teacher can become more effective by applying it. Their conversational style and relatable examples help to make the content easy-to-digest and approachable by even the novice reader. This book should be a core resource in educator prep programs -- a truly valuable contribution to the field.

Every teacher should own this book
A great follow-up to How Learning Happens, How Teaching Happens is basically an anthology of studies and publications on teaching, arranged and written in a way that makes the key themes and findings accessible. Reading HTH will help you to understand what great teaching really is. Links to the original papers and many other great resources are provided if you want to 'dig even deeper', but this is comprehensive enough on its own. The best book on teaching and education I have seen in 2022.
