It was good but emooshed in the jar

I received this and as you can see, the sprats are in pieces and look like dregs. One jar had a bad seal and was leaking. So that is wasted money. They can't be returned so I'll feed the unopened containers to my pets. I have no idea what they taste like because I won't be eating them

I wish I had never ever purchased these disgusting looking sprats. I tossed them without even opening the jars. I was afraid to eat what was inside. I have had Old Riga sprats before when I purchased them at a store. They were beautifully packed in their glass jar. The ones i got from Amazon looked like dog food.

One was on the side, one was upside down and one was upright. Outside packaging has no signs of what is up. Package was left in the sun outside the garage instead of instructions to be left on the porch which is shaded. Will not repurchase as instead of spratts it was pate.

They are delicious but very expensive. It is possible to buy them in international stores for $3.99. Jar of 6.2 oz. I just did.
