Nice clock...comes with a battery. Has a second hand too. Rings loudly. Dial doesn't completely light up. And LED lights up the 10:00 part only. Makes no noise during operation. My last similar clock made a loud ticking sound. The dark face may be hard for some to read. But the clock hands are white.

I like the alarm very much. The numbers are large and very easy to see but best of all the ring is very good to those of us that have hearing problems.

Not like the old fashioned ones. It’s loud IF you’ve never used those. It is kind of cute. Works fine and comes with a battery. I’ll keep it. It’s cheap and nothing to complain about. But if you were looking for one like they use to make. This isn’t it. Works and looks as expected though, especially for the price. Maybe it deserves 5 stars but it’s not as loud as I wanted since I was hoping for the older style spund. Also the old ones were gold. That would be a nice addition for this company.

An alarm so loud, it really wakes me up! Too often when an alarm clock sounds, I just turn it off while remaining half asleep. That doesn’t happen with this one! It jolts me into an awake consciousness.

Quality product - quick delivery.

This is a very loud clock, perfect for me, but it is also fragile. After only a month or so, I accidentally knocked it off my night stand and it broke. I need something that can withstand a few bumps.

This alarm clock is garbage. Or at least it is if you need it for the alarm. I was struggling for a while not getting enough sleep, and then not waking up to my alarms. I bought this, and it was actually a really effective tool for about 3 or 4 months. Then the alarm stopped working. It sounded weak like it wasn't getting enough power to shake the little hammer back and forth. I Changed the battery in it, and it didn't really help. within days of it sounding weak the hammer just stopped moving. Being as these were cheap I just bought another one. That one lasted only about a month before I had the same problem. I don't think this other one has gone completely dead like the other one, but frankly I wouldnt know. I wisely stopped depending on it and don't bother setting the alarm. Completely unreliable. They both tell time just fine otherwise. And they are aesthetically pleasing. But if you need a reliable alarm you can depend on, I implore you to absolutely not buy this alarm clock, and recommend looking for a secondhand vintage alarm clock. Some of them are not as spendy as you might think, and while mechanical vintage clocks can sometimes have their own issues, they were manufactured to last a lifetime, and most issues can be can be solved by a proper oiling with clock oil.
