I really want to love it. But whenever i decide tomuse it, its takes forever for water to boil on an electric stove and once it boils and you drop the pasta inside, it takes another while to boil again… I am not sure how to rate it…?! But these are my observations…..

Ich habe eine Weile nach einem solchen Topf gesucht, weil mein alter Topf ähnlicher Machart kaputt war. Schöne Form, gute Qualität, praktisch in der Anwendung, weil man kein Sieb braucht. Klare Empfehlung.

Our previous pot didn't work well on the new induction hob, so we had to replace it. The first test cooking pasta with this pot was a resounding success. The handles did not get as hot as I had feared, the lid closes tightly with no chance of spillage. For now highly recommended.

I recently bought a portable induction cooktop and needed a pasta pot that would work with it. Cuisinart is a brand I trust, and this beautiful pot has only reinforced that trust. It is replacing another pasta pot with a similar lid, but this one is larger, more versatile, and better built. On the induction cooktop, it boils water fairly quickly, and the handles stay room temperature. They are sturdy, and make it easy to drain the water out. The lid locks securely but is easy to remove. I like to make baked spaghetti, and this pot is large enough to easily dump the meat sauce in and mix everything together. You can obviously use this pot for far more that pasta, but the lid removes the need for a colander. It works well for mashed potatoes or anything that needs to be drained after cooking. I'm slowly moving to all stainless cookware, and this pot fit the bill perfectly. I have some generic vented glass lids that will work perfectly for stews or anything else I want to make in this beautiful, functional pot.
