Good Capless Fountain Pen
Like many others, I love using fountain pens but sometimes miss the convenience of a ballpoint. Therefore it's only natural to try one of the few capless fountain pens out there. Because of the button, you can use this pen one handed which is incredible useful and it is much more suitable for quick notes and other things compared to a normal fountain pen. I normally use a pilot capless (which this pen shares a lot of similarities with and have included in the photo for reference) but decided to get this one as a secondary pen to write with another colour or use as a backup. The EF is indeed quite fine and the ink flow is quite good for an EF nib. It has also worked well with all the inks I've tried with it so far and writes pretty smoothly. I've left this pen inked for a week unused and came back to it working flawlessly. You can choose to have a clip or a roll stop on the pen so people whose grip doesn't work with the clip at the front can still hold the pen comfortably. As with many metal pens the surface is a bit smooth but it shouldn't slide out of your fingers that easily. Since it's a metal pen has a bit of weight to it, but it's balanced well enough that it's shouldn't be much of an issue in the hands. I would recommend using the cartridge rather than the converter for this pen as the converter has quite a small capacity and is a bit more finicky. However the converter still works well enough if you choose to use it.Overall this pen is definitely a good value, if you compare it to the other capless fountain pens out there. While some other ones have gold nibs or a have a little more 'premium' feel they can be 5x the price. This still feels really solid and quality in the hands.

Majohn A1 Fountain Pen
Purchased this pen as a cheap and cheerful alternative to other capless fountain pens. Receiving it though it is really solidly put together with a metal body and hence some weight to it. It has an extra fine nib and writes really nicely, in fact I would say this is the nicest pen I have. I now use it daily for taking notes, as you can really quickly write with it since you don’t need to worry about removing a cap.

Extraordinary pen. Pity it only comes in Fine
The design and mechanics of this pen are heavily influenced by the Pilot capless. However, it costs just over 10% of the Pilot pen. Extraordinary pen. It alway writes right away. The only drawback is that it doesn’t come with a medium nib.

A potentially great pen, let down by poor manufacturing (the pen is bent :-( ).
Ok, first up the likes, and make no mistake there is a lot to like about the pen.The nib is smoooooooth something that is even more impressive given the fact that it is an extra fine. It writes wonderfully straight out of the box. The materials used are of good quality, and it has a lovely matt finish that is comfortable to hold. The mechanism is solid, well made, and reliable. So it writes well, has a nice heft to it, and works reliably. The dislikes. Its body has been awfully machined, when assembled there is a definite bend in the pen. The roll stop and the nib are also offset from each other and there is no way to make them align. Whilst I wouldn't expect perfection at this price point these imperfections are so pronounced that I am surprised and disappointed in equal measure. These "faults" in no way affect the function of the pen, it writes and writes well. However, I am famously OCD about this sort of thing, and it already bothers me. If everything was well machined and straight then this would be a solid 5/5, but the imperfections kill it. At £40 a time at least make the pen straight.

Love this pen
A blatant knock off of the pilot vanishing point but my god is this a brilliant pen. It’s smooth, feels weighty but not heavy, easy to write with and never leaks. So glad I treated myself to this pen
