I am squirreling food away right now because, well, you know…These are perfect for long term food storage! I’ve gotten them in different sizes for different food types. The larger bags fit in 5 gallon painter buckets. Using these bags means we were able to buy the less expensive non-food grade buckets. I put dried foods like beans into the larger bags and items like sugar and salt into smaller ones. Multiple smaller ones will fit in the buckets or in storage bins. We’re putting the bags in containers for protection against rodents. Love that they are resealable! Grab what you need, squish out the extra air, and zip it back up. Definitely recommend using desiccant packets in the bags. Very happy with them and will definitely get more as I can afford to grow my food stash :)

I purchased these to to seal my einkorn grain in and it was very easy to seal them with my food saver. I find them sturdy and easy to use.

Great quality bags, very happy with purchase

I received the bags and compare the thickness feel to others I have. These have the feel of being thicker (as I had hoped). I hear too many stories from people about thin mylar bags and most sellers don't clearly state the thickness of both sides - people say a lot give the total thickness and not the thickness to each side. Time will tell for sure - the unfortunate part of review requests as soon as you receive the item.

Great bags, nice labels, large selection, great zip loc closure. Really appreciate the O2 eaters being individually packaged so I don't have to do 10-50 in a batch like other brands.Bags are thick and require a good sealer to place an additional seal above the zip loc opening. Zip loc closure will hold vacuum long enough to get it heat sealed.Place dried mint or bay leaf in empty tea bag (purchased on Amazon), place end of vacuum tube in tea bag and tie tightly. Cut off tag ends of string. Insert tea bag and 02 eaters in bag. Tea bag contains insect deterrent and prevents product from being sucked into vacuum tube.Be mindful of too much vacuum when bagging chips, popcorn, dried potato slices and fragile items.Close zipper down to the vacuum tube making sure bag is clear of the zipper. Vacuum until you've reached desired evacuation level, press down on zip as you withdraw the tube to strip tea bag off tube and snap closed to preserve desired vacuum. Heat seal immediately. 02 Eaters will remove oxygen and increase vacuum level slightly.
