Looks Can Be Deceiving...
The crate is definitely beautiful, but it got caught in the rain once and was ruined—the material at the bottom is a veneer rather than solid wood, so it bubbled and warped. It was also dang hard to install: it came with no directions, first of all. Second, even though my rack is from Pure City as well, the channel in the center of the bottom didn't fit properly on top of the rack, which screwed up the crossbarsand bolts. Last, I screwed it on as tightly as I could, and it still nearly fell off the first time I rode it—the vibrations from the Boston roads on my commute took the bolts clean off one of the crossbars. It's beyond the return window now, so I might try to waterproof it with some outdoor furniture polyurethane and then jerry-rig the brackets to the rack with zip ties. Not super hopeful, though. Disappointing.

It's a decent quality crate and looks good on my bike
Smaller than I thought it would be, but that's my fault for not visualizing it with a tape measure for size. It's a decent quality crate and looks good on my bike. Enough for a filler trip to the grocery store, and I've carried a gallon of milk in it without too much issue.

Purefix logo isn't a sticker its engraved on both sides
This is a great looking box. I bought the Cedar box and oh my is it fancy looking. It is smaller then I imagined so I'll put it this way....grab a dvd box and lay two of them flat now add about an inch in length and that's the area.As far as whether or not I kept it? No I didnt keep it. Reason is that it had many imperfections ( dents and scratches from staples probably while being made ). I guess it's a factory second or something. Aside from that this box is beautiful. I'll definitely try to buy it again.

Arrived with nicks and scrapes
Item is lightweight and cute, but arrived with obvious nicks and scrapes.

Looks cool and that's it.
This crate looks great but is not durable. It is made of fragile wood and is glued together with only short staples to frame it. I had my lock in it and the crate broke apart in two months. It appears that it isn't weather resistant at all. Might work for infrequent use or looks, but not daily commuting. The securing bracket worked well and was a good component. But the crate itself failed.

Fell apart when left outside
I bought this for local grocery shopping and mounted it on my city bike that I keep outside. It didn't last long. The slats fell off (they are help on by glue) and the whole base warped. I was kind of shocked how badly it lasted, as I figure it is made for the outdoors. If you have an indoor bike, maybe. But if it ever gets exposed to rain or the elements, stay away.

Pretty easy to install
Exactly what I wanted! Its so cute! Pretty easy to install. My only wish was hooks for straps. But I may add those myself.

Disappointed, poor quality
Cute box. Too bad it arrived completely damaged. Not only is there a dent in the wood, the whole panel is detached.
