El PatoJalapeno Salsa 7.75 oz. (6-Pack) by El Pato

Saw this on an episode of Good Mythical Morning and had to try it. For the first time trying salsa from a can this blew me away with the taste - spicy yes, but not overpowering. Great with nacho chips and burritos. Sublime!

I read somewhere, some article out there, that this was the best canned salsa. And I really like salsa. I've never liked a canned salsa before. So I've given it a try. And yes, I agree, it is an excellent canned salsa. Is an excellent fresh salsa? No. Is it an excellent jarred salsa? No. Do I think I'm over paying for having it shipped to my house now through this online vendor? Absolutely. No question. At around $3.50 a can I am overpaying. But, I do like having salsa hanging out in my pantry. I also know, that everyone else in my house will eat the jarred salsa. And then there won't be salsa in my pantry for me. But I know, that no one will eat the can salsa. So I'm going to keep living this life with salsa on hand and I'm going to overpay for it, just a little. But if the price goes up more. I'm going to stop. So don't try it online vendor.

Love this product but three of six cans ordered were dented severely-not safe to consume in my opinion. The box was not damaged in anyway so they must have been damaged prior to shipment.

I love this sauce! I specifically use it in my taco meat and also for covering my chimichanga while cooking. the flavor is exactly what i am looking for. It is pricey on amazon compared to walmart but I highly recommend el pato for any Mexican dish.
