I would recommend this to anyone who needs a metal detector. I was mowing the lawn, had sweaty hands, shooed away a bug and accidentally flung my wedding ring into the lawn, without seeing where it went. I had a loose idea of the general direction, but no idea how far. Raked the whole area, even cut the grass way too short in the area, hoping that would help. Searched for hours and couldn't find it. I've never used a metal detector before, but we figured this would be my best bet for ever finding it. Ordered it and received it the next day. I assembled it, learned how to use it, and found my ring, all in less than an hour. It was pretty well concealed, deep in the grass, and under yard debris. No way I would have found it without this product.

Product seems well built out of plastic and aluminum mostly aluminum. Easy to use once you get use to all the buttons. Only gave it five stars because it will give a false reding here and there. I scanned over a dime a quarter and a nickel it was suppose to show value of each one but it did jump back and forth between the dime and quarter siots on the finder. Now I am no professional so I could have had the sensitivity to high of a little something else wrong. It has help me find pieces of aluminum candles buried and did say aluminum and some buried nails so overall it works great in my opinion.

I went down a rabbit hole on Redditt one night and decided to order a lower priced/intro model to see if metal detecting was something I would actually enjoy before spending more on the hobby. Assembly was quick and straightforward, and the screen is easy to read, the controls are clearly labeled, and it does not take long to understand the basic modes and start scanning. In use, it reliably detects shallow metal like nails, coins, and common buried debris. Audio feedback is clear, and the pinpoint feature helps narrow down a signal once you get a hit. Discrimination works but takes some trial and error, and target ID can shift depending on depth and angle, but I think the learning curve is manageable. The search coil and lower shaft are waterproof, which makes it usable near wet ground, shallow water, and beach edges. The control box is not waterproof and needs to stay dry. The battery life is excellent, and I have had a lot of fun using it so far. the real test will be a beach later this spring and I cant wait.

It worked and I have found very cool things in my backyard with it also the shovel it comes with is very useful. I brought it on a plane and they let me through security fine i love it and recommend buying it.

Kinda works. I bought it to find a buried water valve riser on our property. It could not locate anything unless it was with within 12”. It did find two nails and a piece of metal in our yard about 3” deep though. I would say if you need something very accurate and that goes deeper, keep shopping.

Great device. Originally ordered to find my wife's lost keys in the yard. Found those but while doing that also found a longing buried sprinkler system. Yes, this detector was able to detect the pipes located about 16 inches deep across the yard. Swept across a well used park nearby and located coins and some other trinkets. Lots of fun. The quality is good. Well built. Comes with a canvass/nylon ? Tote case too.
