This drill bit is a good, reliable tool for general use. The metal quality is decent and feels durable during operation.

Drilled out all the knuckles and pitman arm with just one bit on my 2001 jeep cherokee xj. I ordered 2 because I had no faith in this cheap bit, but it worked amazingly well. I did use wd40 before and while drilling the holes tho. Id bet I could use the same bit to drill out everything on another jeep if I needed too also. Id give this bit 10 stars if I could! Glad I didn't buy the $50 one they recommend and went with this $15 one!

Reamed steel with ease. This bit is sharp and strong.

Weekend warrior with some caution. This could snap if you’re not careful with it but has served my purpose well so far. I’ve gone through 1/8-1/4” steel and if your slow and steady should be acceptable. I doubt it would hold up to business use but they would probably have $€£¥ to spend on brand names.

Very sharp drilled right through Pittman arm where I could do my crossover steering on my TJ Jeep zip right through everything that I’ve used it on

This is made of a very low carbon soft steel, not HSS. I tried to use it one time and it's so soft it practically bonded with the steel I was trying to ream out, got stuck and bent so much it was unusable. Had to pound it out of the piece I was trying to ream. I've never seen a drill bit bend, break yes, never bend. Surprising it was not hard to bend most of the way back but still it had metal lumps deforming it, dull edge, and would not ream any more.

Worked well for a few minutes. While boring my front shackle brackets, with oil, caught one time and bent the shaft. I only had two holes to ream so went cheap. Bad idea
