WiFi Power Outage Alarm Detector, Power Failure & Restoration Alerts with SMS Text, Email & Audible Alarm

A very inexpnesive and reliable method to monitor for power on any circuit. For me, it is to tell me if I have lost power on a freezer, protecting the thousands of dollars of food stored in there. I have experienced where a loss of a circuit breaker in the past caused a full loss of all items within. This item has done exactly what I needed: Monitor and alert when power is lost. If I lose power, I get an audible tone in the garage indicating the loss, but far more importantly, I get a text message and email that says "Power lost to <freezer> at XX:XX am/pm". I can take immediate action to ensure I have alternate power or provide a way to move the freezer items to avoid spoil. What more can you want. Has saved me once already. I may get for one other circuit as well as I trust this to work. It is simple, small, and seems to have good battery life. It does not say in description what it says in the packaging in which you get 300 text messages before you run out. That may be a concern for some, but I do not plan on losing power that often. It does not affect email service, thought. Well worth it. Do understand that if you lose power to entire house, it may not get message sent before your internet router loses power, so understand that limitation. For me, I have the router on a battery backup so it will send the signal regardless. Highly recommended.

I've been very satisfied with this outage alarm/detector. My location experiences frequent power "bumps" or even outages that last up to a day and this thing has been super helpful in letting me know when I'm away from home. The included instructions were very easy to follow and understand, and the online utility for setup was pretty simple too. Once it was setup, I found a good spot to put it that's near an outlet and out of the way. I haven't had to touch it since and it sends me emails and texts when I lose power, even for just a second. I don't use the audible alarm function and I'm glad that it's optional. I'd definitely recommend this product if you need a simple-to-setup outage alarm.

I love this product. I have a refrigerator and 2 freezers in my garage for food, and wanted an alarm I could plug into the power outlet that feeds them. This unit was very easy to set up. I had it up and running and tested in about 5 minutes. I like that you can configure both email and text messages. The instructions were clear and easy to read, not translated from Chinese like so many products. We had a few very short power outages since I installed, it, and I got the notifications immediately. Well done!

Works great. I get an alert every time my power goes out and then also when it comes back on, without fail. Great peace of mind. I have a battery backup on my internet so it has internet to send alerts.

I bought this to monitor power outages at a second home. The device was easy to set up because the directions are clearly written. I was able to set the options the way I want. It sends notifications to my phone via SMS and to my email so I don't miss any event. It even sends an email notice if device can't reconnect to my home wifi after a power outage event. It will not detect "power blips" because of the very short interruption in power during the blips. But it has successfully detected many outages over the year that I have had it installed. Also, customer service via email is terrific! I sent a question and within 24 hours I received a lengthy, very clear explanation from a friendly representative.

This detector has been great. It was easy to set up and has worked exactly as advertised repeatedly for me. I have it sending emails and texts to multiple addresses. After reading issues in the reviews initially; it is worth noting that when you set it up, in order for it to work, you obviously need to have wifi that will stay on for a few min. after the power goes out (e.g. have it on a small battery backup). I do, so it wasn't a problem.

I initially had an issue getting my Risinglink to connect to my internet even after splitting my 5g from my 2.4g which is the one needed for Risinglink. I contacted customer support who got back to me within 10 minutes. They were very helpful and asked me to double check my password and reminded me it is case sensitive. Sure enough, I had a capitol letter on the form I filled out for Risinglink that was not capitalized on my password. Once that was resolved, it works great. I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because I want to see if it continues to work over an extended period of of time.

I installed this detector to help monitor the electric service at my house while I am traveling. It worked well on two occasions to let me know when power was out and when it came back on. However, recently, I’ve had several instances where I received a notice that the device “wasn’t responding” and “may be offline”. One of these times I was home, so I checked the device and actually reset it as if I was installing it for the first time. It still happened again in a few weeks. My device is about 5 feet from my router, so there is no way it couldn’t communicate with it. This scenario makes the device a bit less fool-proof that I was hoping for while traveling.

This connects to your wifi, if the power goes down it sends you an email. It works because my wifi is on an uninterruptible power supply so my wifi stays alive if the power goes off.

Bene perchè segnala le interruzioni di corrente in modo ottimale e preciso. Non benissimo perchè: Costa troppo Non manda sms al di fuori degli USA (quindi solo email) Non si puo programmare quindi ha un fuso orario sballato. Serve internet altrimenti non funziona (ma questo è dichiarato dal costruttore)

Amazing!! This device sends you a text and email immediately after a power outage occurs. It also sends another text and email once the power has been restored. Note that it only monitors power of a single outlet/circuit. I have it on the same outlet/circuit as my large chest freezer in our detached garage. The second that outlet loses power I receive a notification and can act accordingly. Great for any circuit or remote location such as a cottage, you’ll know if there has been an interruption of power. Important to note that the device must remain connected to the internet in order to send the notification. If the power to you Internet router or hub goes down simultaneously you will not receive the notification. I put my router on a UPS (battery backup) power supply and it ensures the internet stays active long enough to allow the notification to get sent out. I highly recommend this device over other models I researched!
