BostitchFinish Nails, FN Style, Angled, 1-1/2-Inch, 15GA, 1000-Pack (FN1524-1M)

Been using a mix of these nails in different sizes for my finish nailer and they work great. I waste very few nails.

The nails work fine but the connected rows of nails were broken up during shipping. The package was filled with loose nails when I got it and many of the rows were broken down to between 3 and 10 nails each. This both took me some time to repackage and made it tougher to feed the nails through the gun, causing several jams. I probably had to discard 10% of the nails in the package as a result of the shipping damage. If they hadn’t been damaged, they would have worked just fine.

The only misfire I had was from hitting a screw head holding the subfloor to the joists. The subfloor is a oriented strand board (Advantek) and rock hard. I could not use my hand flooring nailer to set the flooring spikes, so a pneumatic nailer was used for the flooring. Which has nothing to do with these nails, but is my example of how hard the wood material these nails shot into. These nails were shot in using a Bostitch finishing nailer, and had perfect depth set.Only complaint is they are pricey for a box of 1K nails.

Of course the nails work perfectly in my gun just like they should and just like I expected them to. However, it is a wonder that they got here in one piece considered how they were shipped. Yes, they did put some air bags in the box with the nails, but they were bouncing around bad enough that I expected them to be broken to pieces before I opened them. This order somehow managed to make it, but the last time I ordered these nails, one package was completely open and the nail sections were broken into pieces that were hardly usable. I really felt like the poor packaging last time was just a fluke, but apparently it is the norm. I like doing business with Amazon, but Amazon needs to tell their folks to spend a little more time insuring that the items they ship are wrapped and protected properly.

My only issue was they arrive with the package the nails were in busted inside the shipping bag , they were loose.

Another set of bostitch nails for me . Happy with these as well . I use all cordless nailers and i haven't had any problems.
