good pasta press and easy to use

I have written to the seller but no reply. When I received the unit, it was impossible to remove the ring where the screw down knob is so I was unable to feel confident enough to use it because I have no idea what nasties could reside behind the plastic disk inside the tube. I wanted to be able to remove all the parts and clean with soapy water to be sure there was no factory goo left in there. The instructions indicated that when you are preparing to use the unit that you line up the notches on the disk and screw the ring down implying that they are suppose to come apart. Both my husband and I tried separately and together to unscrew the thing. I am thinking about just returning it because I am just not confident enough that it is clean under the plastic push piece.

I used this for extruding homemade Miracle Noodles made with glucomanann powder I also got an Amazon. You can put it together in seconds, fill it and push them out into the boiling water in literally seconds. You unscrew, and it rinses clean. So simple it boarders genius. Great Product! I can't wait to play with it some more !

It works alright, but comes apart when pressure is applied to thicker dough.

Love it. Great for shirataki noodles.
