After meeting Flavia at a Witchcraft show I decided to buy this book.Yes I maybe male and some could say this book is aimed more towards females. However, as one of my deities is Cerridwen I thought it would be worth getting. I'm what you could call a firm believer in the Matriarch compared to the Patriarch.Within this book I have learned more than I thought I could have. I would recommend alot of males to read this book, it might open they're male humanimal egoistic minds. I struggled to put this book down. An absolute fascinating read and very helpful, definitely one of my top favourite books.Blessed Be Sisters 🌒🌕🌘

This book drew me in as soon as I knew it had Kali Ma in it. I love how it's written, each chapter exploring a different Goddess and taking you a journey which you can really experience if you allow yourself to connect. The author is clearly very knowledgeable but she does much more than relay historical insights, she really does invite you to take a personal journey with each Goddess. I love how the chapters seem to flow and follow on so beautifully from each other. A magical journey is how I would sum up this book

I really enjoyed this book and journeying with the Dark Goddess. It was definitely insightful and informative. A great and powerful read.

I found this book when I was seeking for transformation in my life. This book has helped me so much to connect with my dark side, through this book I could see my dark/shadow resemblance with all the dark goddesses. I have been in tears the whole time, this book is intense read and took me almost 2 months to finish it. I had to take long breaks to integrate and be present with myself. Completing this book has made me feel whole and powerful. I look back when I started the book I was completely different person. Despite of Being born in Hindu family and raised with Hindu religion I felt so excepted and loved by these Dark goddess, it almost felt like I knew them all my life. It’s true miraculous, I wish the best to all the women in healing path it is hard but Dark goddess will guide you till the end!!

Book itself is very good and has an interesting choice of dark goddesses. The only problem with this book is that it does not include Goddess Hecate and Hecate is one of the ultimate dark goddesses so it is very disappointing that she is not included in this book.

Author peppered book with many personal opinions. The tone toward people of certain faiths feels negative and some statements are less based in fact and more in theories. Each chapter has a paragraph where the author speaks as the goddess which feels odd. Also, certain signs a goddess may be reaching out to you reflect more medical based issues and less mystical ones.Perhaps I’m not the intended audience. If you are interested in working with “dark” goddesses then maybe this book will suit you.
