I'm not happy! I'm furious! Why the package does not include a battery. The ad photo clearly shows a rechargeable battery. Misleading.

Nice and sturdy, the battery is not holding up for long on the high mode, which is to be expected coz bright on the high mode is insanely bright for it’s size

Purchased this little torch on offer at £16 and its a nice compact every day carry flashlight/torch. quality is good, comes with spare o-rings and a lanyard. The integrated batters has USB-C charing port built in but you can also use normal AA batteries as spares.In general this torch is good for walks etc but dont expect this to shine far and light up the tree-lines, its a close quarters light that can be kept in the pocket or attached to a cap with its reversible clip.On its highest setting it gets hot after a minute so be careful if you give this to little children.

I like this light so much I bought them for my whole family. I carry mine with me all day every day, and I use it way more than I originally thought I would. Having 550 Lumens in a package barely larger than a AA battery is great. I love the fact that its rechargeable battery has a built-in USB-C port so I can charge it with my existing phone charger. I carry mine in my front pocket next to a small multi-tool, and because they rub against each other, I've noticed the finish is wearing off in spots and I can the aluminum color showing through, but that's cosmetic and something I caused. I will also point out that on Medium and High settings this little light can get hot. Too hot to comfortably touch near the LED end if you use it for more than a couple of minutes at a time. The low setting barely gets warm. One other thing to note is that the three settings low, medium and high aren't evenly distributed across the range of lumens. Low is very dim (great for getting to the bathroom at night without tripping over things), but the medium and high settings are much closer to each other in brightness. Oh, and I have actually used the clip to mount this on the bill of a baseball cap, so you can use it hands free if you're wearing a hat with a brim. That was very handy a couple of times. Battery life is about what they state in the product description. Finally, it's great that you can use it with a plain old alkaline AA battery in a pinch (though it doesn't run as long or get quite as bright). That's not a surprise though since most alkaline AA batteries are only 1.5v while the included Li-Ion (14500 battery) puts out 3.7v. Overall, I highly recommend this light! I've attached a picture of the light showing wear caused by rubbing with my multi-tool, and with an AA battery for size comparison.
