FACE MASK MAKERS! This is the PREFECT wire for the nose guard!
I've had this wire before for wiring up my grapevines, and after volunteering to make face masks for medical workers, and now everyone, I found this was the perfect wire for the masks. The problem with other wires, they were breaking in the washing machine and poking through the fabric. Problems solved! This wire is easily bendable, you can iron over it, wash it, and I haven't broken one sewing needle since using it! I'm using a #14 needle and if I hit the wire, it just pierces the coating and easily passes through the thin wires inside. The price is also right. You can get many, many masks made with 100 ft of this wire. Give it a try!

Novice DIYers might need to be careful what applications you use it for insulation seems a bit questionable
I don't really know anything about insulation rating or what should be used in various home applications. I was setting up an electric fence to keep my naughty Siberian Husky in the yard. I suppose everything was going fine(I had some reservations as to it being TOO flexible but not really worth taking a star off) until it came time to turn it on and I noticed that it was grounding out by what I can only describe as THROUGH the insulation. I could tell because the fence energizer does short bursts of charge and you can her the 'click' wherever it ultimately grounds out. I'm sure this works fine on lower voltage applications and I am somewhat on the fence about taking 1 star off just because I may not have understood voltage vs. insulation as much as I should have. In any case, I changed the configuration of the fence so that instead of having 1 continuous 2-layer loop, I instead made the bottom layer the ground and the top layer the 'charged' line. It seems to work fine now but just for my own peace of mind, I'm probably going to swap this out with something with more insulation that was meant for higher voltages. Some electrician might be on here going 'pfff thats not even how it works - I could be wrong, I just know that it wasn't working as expected. Maybe someone can better explain. Also I want to point out again that the line is very flimsy and not as rigid as most electrical lines I have used. Be sure to get something to hold it in place if you are not running it through conduit.

Good wire
Nice gauge wire for selected projects

I like their wire products
I find the plastic outside has a good thickness and the wire inside is very close to proper gauge. Most stuff from over seas is very poor quality and has not passed any quality standards at all so when you get a fair product/price combo its a nice surprise.

For your shortwave antenna
I think 16 gauge was a good choice for hanging a shortwave antenna. It should take a couple of years of blowing in the wind before it finally breaks.
