A Grossery of Limericks

the book arrived in a timely fashion. It was as advertised. It was apparently a professional book as it had been previously owned by a library. It still had the plastic transparent cover and was in excellent condition. The condition of the inside pages were also excellent and from the crispness and sharpness of the letters it appeared to have been read very little. Perhaps it was not a popular book. I did not feel this was necessarily resulting from the authors individual work. It has served my purpose very well. The thickness was very close to the with I needed to fill the blank space on the shelf in my book. The cover color is one that contrasts well in the space that was already there. This book's addition to my collection due to the color and size was easily accomplished. Someday as I have time I hope to read it completely. I do wholeheartedly recommend this seller. There is no way that he should be blamed for the quality of the author's work. If this margin has other items that I need I would certainly purchase them from him.

I never understood the exact relationship between Isaac Asimov and John Ciardi, but they were definitely very good friends and both apparently quite adept at creating dirty limericks. This is the second and final collection of their 144-limerick collaborations, in which they cheerfully skewer each other's motivations and intelligence in between tossing out bits of rather strange and entertaining verse. You have to already like limericks though, because these two were basically drinking buddies who won't shut up. That's how each describes the other, anyway.

Although I heartily disagree with the idea of book burning,After reading this I simply threw it in the trash.I really enjoy a good limerick, this book appears to be entirely devoid of them

Arrived quickly. Asimov is reallllly funny.

Would be wrong to say I hated the book. That's simply not true. But I was disillusioned and for that reason disappointed.As the content wasn't in the least what I had expected. Hey-ho, can't get it right all the time!
