Does a really quick charge on my iPhone. Light and compact, I carry it everywhere.

OK, so I got a used / reconditioned unit. The battery is fine. Works as advertised, typical Anker. I am a fan. Just decided to try a bit cheaper option. The battery charges well, and has been used for a couple of days, typical usage. Working as expected. This review is about the reconditioning process.You could tell the Anker packaging had been opened in the past. I expected that. The battery had a smudge or two on it. Wiped right off. No big deal, but you would think whoever checked the unit for resale would have taken care of that. The only glaring issue I have is that whoever checked the unit for resale evidently had to put in a new charge cable. Well, they put in the wrong one. This unit has USB-A and USB-C connectors. They put in the typical Anker USB-A to mini USB connector. Not a big deal, as I have plenty of suitable cables, but my point is that this unit could have easily been sent back AGAIN, because, as "repackaged", there would be no way to charge the unit.Moral of the story, If you buy a used / like new anything off Amazon, be prepared for the "like new" part to be a little off. But heck, you can always send it back for free!

It's a small and easy to carry battery.It Charges fast, charges the devices fast as well without overheating, and the lower power option (for headphones and/or smartwatches) is a really good tool.

This little power bank has been great for traveling and a great value for what I paid for it. After my cell phone was approaching 4 years, it would lose its charge midday. I refused to go spending thousands of dollars on a new phone at the time so I purchased this. Easy to use and it has stood up to the rigors of frequent travel being tossed to and fro in my backpack. It charges my phone super quick.I will definitely purchase other products from this brand.

I like Anker products so I'm a little disappointed with this item. I have a Samsung Note phone that I use it to charge but I don't find it to be effective. My phone is not fully charged and the powerbank battery level is practically depleted without the phone being fully charge. My other power bank I can get two full for my phone before I need to charge the power bank itself. The only thing is that it's bulky. I wanted to find another power bank that's effective but not as bulky. I'll see how it performs in the next few days and may return it after.Update: 10/23/22 - I usually look for Anker products 1st because not only are the products usually good but I also like that they pay attention to details in the presentation of their products. I'm also loving their customer service. My intention was to return the power bank above and see if there's another Anker product that can replace it. I was quite impressed that they reached out to me and offered to replace it with another powerbank without me returning this one. The replacement (Anker powerslim 10000mAH). I was able to charge my phone fully with there being still lots of juice to charge another time. The only drawback with the new powerbank is that it's longer than the original one and I was looking for something really compact but it's also flatter. I'm actually happy with the performance. Great small size, fit in my pocket with my phone. Gave me two charges and still had juice left!

I will use this to keep my phone charged during trans-Atlantic flights. When I land my phone will be charged and I can conduct my activities without worrying about the dreaded low battery warning. This product replaces an older model from another manufacturer that I’ve used for years on trans-Atlantic flights in similar fashion. I’ve already tested the Anker model at home when my phone battery was low and it charged it rapidly. The Anker product has a larger charge capacity than my older model so I expect it to work as well or better than the older model.Update after field test: The Anker Power Bank was field tested during a 28-day trip to Europe. Not only did it keep my phone fully-charged during two transatlantic flights, but it worked superbly while sight-seeing all day in Europe and it's compact enough to easily fit in a backpack or shoulder bag. I put it and the iPhone charging cord in a small 3x5 inch zippered case so everything is kept together and compact.

I tried charging this power bank twice. First time I charged it overnight and it didn't charge at all. Then I tried charging a second time for many hours but never fully charged to the 4 out of 4 lights. It would only charge to 3 out of 4 lights. I then plugged my iphone into it and it only charged my phone once and only to 60% battery. It was a painfully slow recharge rate. Like it took several hours. I have older version of this battery that definitely works. The old version charges up fast and charges my devices quickly. This is just junk.

I particularly wanted a small power bank to use when travelling.My criteria were simple: I needed something from a recognised brand that's small enough to slip in my pocket with usb-c that could charge my phone enoigh that in a pinch I would have enough battery for my boarding passes and trip confirmations etc.Quality and reliability are high in my personal wish list, I'd rather pay a little more for a quality produxt.For some reason with digital boarding passes etc I'm convinced my battery will go to zero the minute I get to the scanner, so this purchase was really about peace for mind for me.This power bank hit all my criteria and more. It feels very well built, has usb a and c and can charge two devices at the same time. Size wise it's absolutely spot on, and it even comes with a cable.There are power banks with more features and considerably higher capacities, but for my needs this was ideal.I highly recommend this!
