Visitors were coming and we realized that there wouldn't be enough pillows to go around, so to the internet! I wasn't expecting too much as they seemed to be middle of the road in comparison to other pillows, but for limited use they'd be just fine.When the pillows arrived they were in compression packaging and I really didn't think they'd expand to be anything of value, but what the heck, time was limited, pillows were here, I'd use them and give the guests my "good" pillows and all would be well. Well, I opened the packaging, the pillows went "poof!" and like the Pillsbury Doughboy, they expanded to more than I thought possible.The pillows have a cool side and they do stay cool. The loft was just enough and surprisingly firm, while the pillows remained flexible and could be molded to whatever shape felt most comfortable. Once I closed my eyes, I was out and slept great. I woke up refreshed, no aches, no pains, just well rested and not going back to the other pillows again.

This pillow has been a game changer! It’s incredibly comfortable and made with high-quality materials. The foam provides excellent support and has great shape resistance, meaning it doesn’t flatten out easily like other pillows. It also comes with helpful instructions on how to adjust the firmness if you prefer a less flat pillow, which is a nice touch. Definitely worth every penny for the comfort and durability it offers. Highly recommend!

Update: the smell did eventually fully dissipate maybe after 2-3 days? Absolutely within a week. My young daughter LOVES this pillow. I think she’s had it for over a year now, and it’s still holding up well and not having flat spots or anything. I did end up getting a pillow protector from Walmart (brand: mainstays. Type: “microfiber pillow protector”. Size: S/Q zippered. As of 2024, the packaging cardboard is white at the top and purple at the bottom.) Anyways, the reason I provide all that info is because it is NOT a noisy protector like many that make it sound crinkly when you lay on it. I had to return a few crinkly ones. I think the waterproof ones are the crinkly ones. This one works well as the middle protector in between the two that come on the pillow. So I have first the included one that contains the foam, then the Walmart protector one, then the included white/blue cooling one, and lastly a pink zippered double sided pillowcase that is also part cooling and part more cooling. (The pink one is from Amazon and I aligned the solid pink cool side with the white side of the white/blue case and aligned the pink heathered colder side with the blue colder side.In update summary: LOVE and HIGHLY RECOMMEND.* Just make sure you don’t need to use it immediately that you have the time to air it out.(Pictures are after I removed the foam I didn’t need. I put a 6oz sunscreen spray bottle in the one picture for reference of how tall the pillow is after removing ABOUT 1/4th the foam).No extra foam included, but they are overly-filled with foam so they are quite thick and firm.I got it for my 4 year old and had to remove 3 gallon-sized ziplock bags worth - probably about 1/4th of the foam to get it thinner and safer for my young child.They were fully to size within maybe a few hours. They do come with a pretty strong smell - I haven’t tried the drier option yet; if they still smell strong tomorrow after 24 hours of airing out, then I’ll try the dryer option.They are very soft fabrics and soft squishy foam (the more foam you leave in, the firmer it is and the more you take out, the squishier it is). It does come with two zip pillowcases. The first one contains all the purple foam and is seemingly a basic zippered pillowcase. The 2nd one is the outer white/blue zippered casing that goes over the 1st casing. The 2nd casing is the soft/cooling one you see in the pictures and description.The white side is extra soft and the blue side is noticeably cooling (still soft but more of a slick soft vs the white is more plush soft)Things I would change:- less smell (I don’t mind that there is some smell initially, but it’s taking longer to dissipate than preferred and it is pretty strong)- wish it came with a large sealable bag to put the extra foam in for people that don’t want that thick or firm of a pillow. I used 3 gallon sized ziplock bags to remove estimated 1/4th of the foam best guess. Not absolutely necessary, but would be a nice touch.- maybe I missed the info, but I wish either the inner or the outer pillowcase was a ‘protector’ as in: waterproof, hypoallergenic, bedbug & dust mite protection. I’m probably going to order a true protector, remove the 2nd outer cooling casing, put on the actual protector, and then put the cooling cover on as a 3rd casing. I feel silly maybe having so many casings but the 1st is important to contain the foam, 2nd to protect the pillow, & 3rd to have the cooling & softness features. 🤷🏻‍♀️ it is what it is I guess.

This is the best of the best pillow that I have ever laid my head upon. After one nights sleep my neck feels 100x better than ever before. The pillow is not small but it’s not overly bearing. It supports my neck which in turn takes pressure off of my spine. It’s firm enough to support my weight and soft enough to keep my comfortable throughout the night. What a relief this has been. No more pain for me. I only hate that it took me so long to discover this jewel of a pillow.

This is the 8th pillow I've bought that said it was firm. Others pale in comparison to this pillow, I was skeptical when it came squashed like a tiny pancake. I slept on it the first night and didn't notice an odor like others said. It did take 24 hrs to puff up to its full size. The cooling side is nice but doesn't stay super cold like other pillows I've had but it doesn't lose it's shape when sleeping on it. I've paid 3 times as much for one pillow and got two for a great price. If you love firm pillows this is the one for you

It's fluffy and soft. Comfortable when I first laid on it, but when I woke up (multiple times during sleep) I was in so much pain I could hardly breathe. I have used it twice now, and my back is in excruciating pain. I cannot use these pillows to sleep on.

These are the most comfortable pillows I have owned. Soft but firm, cool side is amazing.

I saw the reviews that the brand name pillows are unusually hard now. And I saw the photos of people pushing down on these pillows. They arrive air compressed. I let mine sit over 24H. I think I gave it a few days. It fit perfectly in my queen quit shams and works well with my queen bed. They do compress while you sleep. I flip them when they seem lopsided.

Super easy to fluff, and the most comfortable pillow I’ve ever owned. I’ve been having the best sleeps lately

These pillows are magnificent!!!! I have only had them for a few days and I just bought them because I am tired of the usual flat-in-a-few-uses pillows that don't keep their shape and a friend suggested I try them out. She has had hers for about a year she said and they still keep their shape! The other benefit I've noticed is that my neck feels a lot better. I didn't realize how poorly the flatties were supporting it until these wickedly awesome pillows came into my life and my neck and shoulders feel kind of amazing when I wake up. I would highly recommend these fluffy shap-keeping wonders. I am kind of an all over sleeper; side and back, sometimes stomach. And I haven't had to remove any of the stuffing for it to be comfortable or supportive in any of these sleeping positions. The cooling side works wonders on the hot nights we've been having this summer. What are you waiting for?? Add these to your cart asap! You need these!!!

I ordered these pillows because I have a king size bed and standard size pillows and I’m sick of the pillow cases being too big!So I bought these merely for aesthetic purposes when I make my bed... as I have very high quality ( standard size) pillows already I was going to continue using for sleeping; from sleep country. I received these pillows a few days ago... I haven’t noticed a smell that some other reviews mention... the pillows I received are scent/odour a free.I am thrilled with the quality and support..they are perfectly firm and feel of good quality.... they are actually comparable to my pillow that I spent over$100 on, for just one.I highly recommend these pillows... they are so wonderful in fact, I just ordered another set!!

I always have a hard time finding a firm pillow. Either they are not as firm as advertised or they are often a big slab of memory foam which is not fluffy at all. This pillow is outstanding because it is made with little chunks of memory foam that gives the pillow the fluffiness AND the desired firmness. The pillow is very thick but one can remove the stuffing to make it thinner. It’s very well made. Because it is memory foam, we have to let breath and vent for a couple of days if sensitive to the smell. It’s best to use in a dryer at low heat or air fluff to get rid of the smell.

Very puffy and hold form well and supports substantially.
