Works great, but complicated to set up
Quite a savings if you live through the experience... :-) Here are some "key" points to help others out. This is for using these on a 2011 Ford 150 pickup truck, but I imagine they apply to many other fords. I needed to replace one key+fob that had stopped working (not the battery). It turns out the key has a security chip that was working, so just the fob had failed (would no longer open the truck doors). There are 3 parts to the adventure, and they can be done in any order. The new keys will only open the doors (manually) and start your vehicle after completing Part 1 and Part 2. The Key FOB works after Part 3 - so if you do Part 3 first, be aware the keys still will NOT start the vehicle. Part 1 = Cut the keys Part 2 = Program the security Part 3 = Program the FOB Note 1: You get 2 blank key+fobs with this order. They appear to match perfectly the originals. Part 1: Step 1. You will need to get the keys cut, this can be a hassle as some places will do it and others will not. They cut the keys - They do not program them for you. I ended up getting mine cut at Lowe's Hardware, even though they told me they are not supposed to do it. I love Lowes Hardware! Very helpful people. Note 2: There are two different components to program on each key+fob. The cut key itself WILL NOT WORK on the vehicle without programming the security chip - it turned on an automatic alarm when I first tried the cut key - Note the cut was fine, but I hadn't yet programmed the security chip. Part 2: Step 2. You need two working keys with working security chips to self-program a third key's security (as far as I was able to tell). Even though my key fob had stopped working, the key security chip was working so I had two working keys as far as security was concerned. I knew the security chip was still working because the key could still start my truck. Step 3. To program a third (and then a fourth) key security chip, I put the master key in and switched the car on (but did not start it). I then immediately did this with the second working key. I then placed the third new cut key in and when I switched the truck on the key security chip was programmed (or perhaps the truck learned the key's code, not sure). I repeated this for the fourth new key. (All of this is online in videos, I am telling it here so people know what to expect) Step 4. Once both new cut keys had their security programmed, they would open the doors (manually) and start the truck without setting off an alarm. Part 3: Step 5. The FOBs now have to be programmed. You place a working key into the ignition and switch the truck on then back off (again without starting the vehicle) quickly 8 times - on the 8th time leave the ignition ON. You will here the door locks operate - then push a button on the key fob you are programming and it should now work. I repeated this for the 4th (second new key) key as well. (Again, all of this is online in videos) Results: I now have 4 working keys (2 are new) and 3 working fob for a fraction of the cost of getting one through the dealership.

As advertised! Easy to program, works perfect.
I purchased these keys after getting a price quote from Ford for 2 new keys, cutting, and programming, which was going to be around $500 total. After researching, I decided to do this myself. I purchased a used 2012 Ford 150 pickup truck. I only got 1 Admin key when I purchased this and needed to get spare keys for everyday use. The new keys will only open the doors (manually) and start your vehicle after completing Part 1 and Part 2. The Key FOB (buttons) works after Part 3. From my experience, the order of these steps is important and should be followed for each key. Part 1 = Cut the keys Part 2 = Program the security Part 3 = Program the FOB You get 2 blank key+fobs with this order. They appear to match perfectly the originals (w/o Ford Logo on back) Part 1 - Cut the keys You will need to get the keys cut. I ended up getting mine cut at Ace Hardware for free. Part 2 - Program the security in the key - If you only have 1 admin key, you will need to use an OBD-II scanner and FORScan software. There are videos on YouTube on the exact process which takes about 30 minutes total per new key. The software is free and a decent scanner can be found for around $35 USD. - If you have 2 admin keys, you can follow instructions using YouTube videos to program the security chip in the new key. Once the new cut key has the security programmed, it should now open the doors (manually) and start the truck without setting off an alarm. Part 3 - Program the FOB (buttons) of new key The FOB now has to be programmed. Insert the working admin key into the ignition and switch the truck on then back off (again without starting the vehicle) quickly 8 times - on the 8th time leave the ignition ON. You will here the door locks operate - then, within 10 seconds, push the lock button on the key fob in the key in the ignition, you will hear the door locks operate, then press the lock button on the new key FOB you are programming, you will hear the door locks operate and it should now work. Repeat for the 2nd key. You should now have these 2 new keys working properly to unlock door manually or remotely, crank the truck with no security alarm warning, and if the remote start option is installed in your truck, you can press the lock button, then the 2x button three times slowly and the engine should crank. Note: If you are using FORScan to program the keys, you can also use it to enable the Remote Start feature/function. I did this not knowing if it was actually installed with hopes it was and was pleasantly surprised after programming my new keys to find that it does in fact have the remote start feature installed and works perfectly with these keys.

A little struggle but well worth it
The key looks nice the button seem a little less firm than the original had a difficult time finding a locksmith to cut the key was able to find one to cut and program the key to my vehicle but unable to program them to start and unlock lock the vehicle. I did find a video on YouTube showing how to program the remote start and the key fob it worked. It took me a couple of times but I got it I had to use the method twice one key didn't work so I was able to do it again and press both keys at the same time instead of just the one at a time and it worked it program both keys other than that and not having a Ford emblem on the keys I would recommend them to anyone to save several hundred dollars

Cheap and chips are no good
The chips are junk and will not program and are very cheaply made the business I went to could only cut the keys and the plastic housing is so thin it cracked just to open it. Cost me a lot of money to try and have it professionally programmed to no avail. Total waste of hard earned money. The chips are worthless in them and now I have to go buy own ones and spend $400 Due to this junk product. Buyer beware!

Worth the money and great quality
The keys were worth it for my ford truck and worked great. I programmed the remotes and had to go to a locksmith to get them to cut the keys for me and program the key to my truck. Great buy and is way cheaper than spending 200 dollars at the key machine for one key.

Works… for a while.
I bought these in June ‘23 and got them cut at my local Ace. Programming wasn’t difficult, I did both in about ten minutes. They’ve worked well since purchasing, only glitch had to do with Remote start requiring 3 clicks instead of two. It’s now May ‘24 and the fob used daily has just stopped working. New battery, and nothing. Other FOB still works as it should. Not sure it’s worth it for a year.

Better Than Expected
I wasn't sure how this set of keys was going to turn out. I had seen some bad reviews on them. Upon receiving them I noticed that they felt like the same quality as the OEM keys. This was a great thing to run into. The hardest part of this endeavor was getting the keys cut at places where I didn't purchase the keys. This has nothing to do with the keys themselves. Once I got them cut, the programming took about a minute for both keys. I had to look up a YouTube video since there were no instructions on their website. They both programmed well and work a whole lot better than my 13 year old OEM keys. I would highly recommend these if you're looking for new keys and don't want to pay from OEM.

Quality Keys
The keys are of high quality however when I tried programming them to my 2012 Ford F150 using forscan they wouldn't work. After doing some research I purchased two strattec original ford keys and they programmed with no issues. After those worked I was able to program both of these keys to the truck with no issues. My situation may be a unique as I bought the truck at auction with no keys so you may need two original ford keys programmed to your vehicle before you're able to program these keys. With that being said I find these keys to be high quality and function very well.

Great factory replacement
I got these keys cut at the dealership, then did the programming myself following these instructions. They work awesome, with acceptable but range but I will not complain for the price. REMOTE PROGRAMMING 1. Enter the vehicle, close, and unlock all doors using the power unlock switch on the driver’s door. 2. Insert the key into the ignition. 3. Within ten (10) seconds, switch the key as far to the ON position as it will go without starting; then back to OFF, perform this step eight (8) times ending in the ON position on the eighth (8th) time. Each cycle ON to OFF will count as one (1). If the door locks appear to be cycling after the fourth (4th) ON to OFF cycle, restart the procedure from STEP 1 and only turn the key four (4) times in this STEP, ending in the ON position the fourth (4th) time. At this point the vehicle door locks should automatically lock and unlock, indicating that the programming mode has been activated. If the door locks do not cycle automatically then the programming procedure has failed and you need to restart the procedure from STEP 1. 4. Within seven (7) seconds, using any remote, (we recommend first programming original remotes if you have one) press and release the LOCK button. The vehicle doors will automatically lock and unlock indicating the new remote has been accepted. 5. Repeat STEP 4 for all remaining remotes you wish to program (you can program up to four (4) remotes total). 6. Once you have programmed all your remotes, exit the programming mode by turning the key off and removing it from the ignition. 7. Test all remotes to ensure they are functioning. If any did not program, restart the programming procedure from STEP 1 and switch the order in which you are programming the remotes. KEY PROGRAMMING You must have two (2) factory keys that can start the vehicle to perform this procedure. If you do not have two (2) factory keys for the vehicle currently, a trip to a dealership or an automotive locksmith will be required for the programming. 1. Enter the vehicle and close the driver’s door. 2. Using the first factory key, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position as far as it will go without starting the vehicle and wait three (3) seconds; then turn it to the OFF position and remove the key. 3. Using a second factory key, insert the key into the ignition and turn to the ON position as far as it will go without starting and wait three (3) seconds. 4. Turn the key OFF and remove it from the ignition. 5. Using a new key, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position as far as it will go without starting and wait two (2) seconds. At this point the vehicle will illuminate the immobilizer warning lamp (usually a circular red light or car shaped red light on the dashboard display) for three (3) seconds, then the light will go out, indicating that the key has been programmed successfully. 6. Once you have programmed your key, exit the programming mode by turning the key OFF and remove it from the ignition. 7. Test the key to ensure it is functioning by starting the vehicle with it. If it did not program, restart the programming procedure from STEP 1. 8. To program additional keys, restart the programming procedure from STEP 1 and use the same two factory keys to program the remaining (you can program up to 8 keys total).

Poor Programming
Originally ordered a set of 2 remotes for a 2011 F150. Ordered September 16, delivered September 23, happy with that. Had keys cut at locksmith. When I tried to program to my truck, only the lock/unlock would program (remote start did not work. Remote start is the reason why I bought extra remotes. Contacted company through number supplied with the remotes. Communication was good, said that they would ship out 2 new remotes on September 24, and I could just change the circuit board from new to old ones. Did not receive the new remotes for about a month and a half. Changed the boards and now only 1 will program and at that it is not correct for the button sequence to remote start the truck. That being said, it does start the truck. Contacted company again, no response, tried again and finally responded. Offered to refund my money if I shipped all the remotes back. I would then be out the cost of the key cutting and the return shipping, in either scenario, not a good outcome for the purchaser. All in all I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

Does all the functions except one
It works well except it will start the truck remotely but it will not turn off the engine remotely. Other than that it is a great deal.

They’re ok
The keys work. Once cut, they program easily, but if you program the key fobs one at a time, any fob you’ve already programmed loses its programming. Also, the remote start button is there for show. Once the keys are programmed, they will unlock the doors, but not start the vehicle. There are cheaper options without the start option, so I recommend that if you don’t need the start button to work, but if you do, don’t bother with these.
