Sekhmet: Transformation in the Belly of the Goddess Paperback – Illustrated, June 20, 2017

I just finished this book and did all the journeys live on zoom with a group lead by the author herself. It was a powerful and transformative process, just as promised. What is more, it is clearly being led from the inner planes by Sekhmet herself. Anyone who has done shamanic work knows that when multiple people come back from a journey and report that the inner plane contact gave the same item or similar items that in fact, a genuine energy exchange has taken place between the realms. This happened many times in this course. If you are interested in rebuilding your body and mind and heart for a deeper purpose then I would suggest this book and all the journeys in it. We did it in three weeks but it could be done over an entire year. And the work still goes on after you are done. Once you are together with Sekhmet I think you are a part of her pride and that is the end of it. She is a legitimate and powerful presence and one which will not disappoint. In fact, you may find you have always been with her. In the second week of this course my deeper purpose literally just dropped into my heart and mind and I had been trying to discern this for about five years.Lastly, Sekhmet is, along with many other powerful "dark" Goddesses, one of those who leads you on the swift path of transformation. This is work that takes you into the underworld and is not all light and angels. It scours you clean and dismembers you as the real powerful shamanic work does. I suggest joining the google open forum that all those who follow this path can join via Nicki's website. (Just email her) This way you will not be on your own and can find some community and Nicki herself is there to answer questions. She has devoted her life to this work and when she leads you into contact with the Egyptian deities, real spiritual power flows through. I feel fortunate to have been able to work with Nicki while she is still teaching via zoom.

I came across this book when I was tapping into different goddesses and wanted to understand them more. Out of all the books about Sekhmet, this one felt right.

Love the story he shares and his reverence for the energy of Sekhmet. This is a powerful book though if you’re not ready to work or meet with her hold off. Just reading the first chapter she has showed up around me and in my readings. I’ve even rescued an abandoned cat that was left right outside my door. There’s no such thing as coincidence to me anyway.

This book went far beyond my expectations! It is so life changing and affirming

I bought this book back on pre-order months ago and got through so much of it only to stop. I don't know if it was because I was terrified of what would happen if I did this work or it just wasn't the right time to do it. Then when I went to Nicki's website and saw that she was having a class for this book I jumped at the chance to take it. Tonight, I finished the class and I must say, wow! This book, this work, and Nicki's dedication to this work and the special magic of Sekhmet is absolutely profound. I have changed so much in the three week and one day course. I have met and connected with wonderful people. If this book catches your eye, read it and experience for yourself the magic that is Sekhmet: Transformation in the Belly of the Goddess. You won't regret it. The magic and understanding that comes with connecting to Sekhmet and all the others integrated into this work will make you wonder why you even hesitated in the first place.

As a trained Shaman i thoight I've done a lot of intensive healing - wrong! This is right at the top of the list. I encourage anyone working through deep personal ancestral work to take the time to do this work. It is profoundly transformative.

I did not like the book. It's about the author's spiritual experience. I expected the book to be more like a text book about Sekhmet. The pictures in the book are really good.
