Only thing l was concerned about was the kit was smaller than expected.The kids loved everything that came in the kit. I would order again as a gift for young girl 8 and up. The color of the kit was nice.

This is one of those small but mighty makeup sets. When you first get it, it seems really small and like it doesn't hold much. But let me tell you, this made the whole year of a 7 year old. She kept opening compartments to find more and more makeup! If you are looking for PRETEND makeup that DOES NOT transfer pigment, this is not the one for you. This is play makeup that does in fact apply and could be messy without adult supervision.I think this is a great starter kit and age appropriate for a child wanting to play with makeup and still be a child. It offers hours of fun, and makes an excellent gift with so many compartments to open for more surprises.I realize it's kid's makeup, but I do wish their were options for little girls with different complexions. That is probably my only "complaint" would love to see an option for the set to be tailored.Overall I think it was worth the value, made a great gift. Age appropriate, and any child wanting to play with makeup would love it!

Our kids love dress-up and makeup so this set was an instant hit. What makes this set a little nicer than most is the makeup itself, there are a lot of glitter/sparkle options which is normally rare, in this set most of the makeup is sparkly, which makes it a little extra fun! There are fewer accessories, but the makeup is the star of this set, and it delivers. A good set in the price range.
