Mixing is easy with a shaker bottle
This product is cheaper than Metamucil (about 25% - 33% less per ounce, depending on price variations) and contains no extra ingredients. Metamucil has artificial colors, artificial flavors, and artificial sweeteners (Aspartame), among other things. That makes this a clear win in my book. It had no bad taste, as other reviewers had experienced. I had zero issues drinking it. Sure, it doesn't have the citrus taste of Metamucil but I found that I did not miss it. Obviously taste is highly personal, so your mileage may vary but don't believe every review that says they had to choke back their gag reflex or whatever. I read the reviews before buying and a lot of people had trouble mixing the fine powder. I'm here to tell you that it's 2023 and if you're trying to stir a powdered drink mix in a glass with a spoon you're doing it wrong. Get a shaker bottle, which is designed for this. It has a small metal wire mesh ball that acts as a whisk, and a tight fitting lid that won't leak. You get a perfect mix with absolutely no clumps in 10 seconds, and there's no blender to drag out and clean afterwards. You can drink from the shaker bottle so there isn't even a second cup to wash. I recommend the BlenderBottle 20oz, it costs $9 and is perfect. The ASIN is B07TL6PNLH, type that into the search to go right to it. Like all powders that come in a bag I recommend transferring the contents to a different air-tight container for daily use. I wouldn't want to fight the built-in Ziploc seal on a regular basis, although I have to say the one on this product is not as horrible as some of the others I've experienced. Still, a nice glass jar with latching lid is much more pleasant on the hands to deal with regularly. Tip: I really like a 1/4 cup (60 mL) scoop for transferring these fine powders between containers. It's large enough that you can get a good amount (especially with a heaping scoop) but small enough that it will still fit into the mouth of whatever container you're transferring to. It's much easier than trying to pour the powder out of the Ziploc bag, getting it caught in the Ziplock groove, etc. Pick up a cheap set of kitchen scoops if you don't have any, they really come in clutch.

Outstanding product!!!
A bit more expensive than store bought brands, but works 3X better so you use 3X less. Well worth the extra price IMO

Lowered my cholesterol
Iโve been taking Metamucil for 3 years now and my cholesterol was still high so I decided to try a different psyllium. I bought this one. 3 months later I went for blood work. It was down 40 points! This was all I changed! So happy! Yay!

Something is off with this batch
I have purchased this brand a couple times in the past several months with no issue. But the flavor seems off this time around. I can't pinpoint it, but there's almost a plastic or chemical after taste. I wonder if anyone else is having the same issue? I'm returning.

Terrible stuff
I have been using another brand for years and thought that I would try this because it was organic and cheaper. My thought was that Psyllium is Psyllium, right? Wrong! The first thing I noticed was that it clumped more than the other brand. I use a shaker cup with a spring in it to mix it with almond milk, and the more expensive brand was always smooth, not so with this stuff. The second thing I noticed was regularity. I had it with the other brand, not with this. So, because it didn't work for me, I threw it out and ordered my regular brand. The cost was better, but it could have been free, and I still would have thrown it out; it simply doesn't work.

8 oz water per scoop!!!
5 stars with condition. The dose to water is not ideal, or for that matter, safe. You need 8 oz of water for every level scoop. Mix and let sit 5 minutes stirring occasionally. I like to mix in my creatine and a dash of salt. Drink it with a straw for less mouth feel and taste. If you have a tall canning jar with ounces on the side, that works great to mix and drink from. Do not start with the recommended dose. Work up to it over time as your digestion adjusts. I drink it between meals for fluids and less pressure on my digestion.

Disappointing
I wanted to like this, but it doesn't mix well, and as such I don't even get it all because it just sticks to the side of the glass. I feel like it doesn't work either, but I'm not sure if it's that or because I am effectively wasting it because it just doesn't come out of the glass.

Impressed
I rarely leave reviews, but I've been very impressed with this product. Three months ago, I had blood work done for my annual physical, and my doctor was alarmed at my Cholesterol level of 233 (200 being the normal range) and said he wanted to get me on a statin. I told him I didn't want to get on one and would try to lower it by changing my diet. In the last three months, the only thing I've done differently is put a serving of this in a smoothie 6 days a week. This morning I got bloodwork done again, and it's been lowered by 30 points to 203.
