Great companion for homeschool discussion
My daughter is reading this for one of her book reports. I am also reading so we can discuss but this really helped me make sure that we discuss all the symbolism and she understands some of the confusing jargon.

Vocab helped my son alot
My son is Aspergers and not the greatest at creative writing this described characters that he did not think was important and explained why. It has all the vocab by chapters now I want you to understand this was the tool I used to help him I did not hand it over to him. It is to good and teachers are aware so they add stuff to tests and report that is not in here so if you are a student reading this you better read the book also this is an aid not a replacement....

A Dark Commentary on Human Nature
As a dark commentary on human nature, Nobel-Prize-winning novelist William Golding's *Lord of the Flies* has more layers than your average quick read for a lazy day on the beach. That is why, to plumb its depths, it is not only nice but necessary to have this excellent commentary as a key to what Golding has to tell us about the "savage mind" of young boys and by extension the men they might grow into. An essential commentary.

Excellent for students who have difficulty comprehending the vocabulary and the plot. I teach a Special Needs Student and between an encapsulated version and Cliff's Notes, he was able to complete his summer reading well before it was due! Kudos.

Perfekter Überblick
Ich habe mir dieses Werk als Zusatzinformationen für die Lektüre von "Lord of the Flies" gekauft, da ich das genannte Werk mit einem Englischgrundkurs in der Q1 gelesen habe. CliffsNotes bestechen, wie auch im Fall von "Lord of the Flies" durch eine konzise Darstellung des Inhalts, der Charaktere und wichtiger Konzepte. CliffsNotes entlastete meine Lektüre stark und ermöglichte mitunter einen vollkommen neuen Blick auf diese. Die Autoren sind keineswegs Professoren sondern mitunter auch Masterstudenten, die einen erfreulich frischen Blick auf die Materie eröffnen. Erfreulich finde ich ebenfalls, dass keine didaktischen Vorschläge zu der Bearbeitung der novel getätigt werden, sondern lediglich eine solide Textanalyse stattfindet. CliffsNotes können keine Deutungshoheit beanspruchen und das tun diese meines Erachtens nach auch nicht. Sie ermöglichen aber unterschiedliche Blickwinkel auf die jeweilige Literatur. Vor allem die inhaltlich-analytische Tiefer der Notes und der Preis machen dieses Werk wesentlich attraktiver als die Lektürehilfen diverser Schulverlage.

Lo compre pensando que era el libro "Lord of the Flies", el señor de las moscas en ingles, pero no lo era. Son comentarios sobre el libro original, que no es el que necesitaba leer mi hija en ingles.
