I bought this to keep two stray cats out of my neighbor's yard. My husband started feeding them so they became our cats. Unfortunately they liked my neighbor's yard better than ours to do their business in. So I installed this in our side yard to keep them from wandering over to the neighbor's yard. I was skeptical at first if this would work or not, but I was pleasantly surprised. I love that it has sound. The dog bark works great along with the bright flashing light. In the first 15 days only one of the cats made it over to the neighbor's yard. I realized that I did not adjust the frequency of the device so now I alternate every few days between fixed and sweep for the ultrasound. There hasn't been a problem since and my neighbor is thrilled that the issue was resolved.

This is a reorder. Have been using these for sometime to keep cats and errant loose dogs, tires of people who let their pets roam and think I need to cleanup after them. They have helped diminsh the number of issues I was having. Wish the light feature could be set to not go off. Also height is important when setting them up as if it is too low and vegetation on a windy day they can be set off. I do enjoy the sound effect option.

We got this to keep cats and birds from walking through our gate and into our courtyard. Since this has been installed in the portico, we have watched multiple birds and cats come close to the gate and as soon as the lights flash, they turn and go away. Works exactly as advertised.
