Dimensions: Total Width: 54" Total Height: 54" Depth: 11"All of the brackets come attached for easy installation. Our furniture also comes with all necessary screws and drywall anchors to install into studs. If your studs are spaced differently or you do not want to use studs, you can also mount the shelving up using 1/8" x 2" Toggle Bolts to sturdily mount our shelving into drywall. These Toggle Bolts would need to be separately purchased. *Please note: This can be a difficult piece to mount. You'll want to have an extra person with you to hold the shelves while you mount the poles.

Love Love Love
Love Love Love! Getting this was an attempt to save my couch from my new kitten. It's turned out really well. There have been a few times I've caught Tweak clawing the couch, but each time I've picked him up, placed him on this piece, and scratched the sisal with my nails to train him. It's helped a lot.

Good Investment
It arrived really well packaged, without a scratch on it. No unpleasant or overpowering smell, just lumber and a bit of the wood stain they used on it. The pieces are well made and sturdy enough even for large cats, provided you mount them correctly. The instructions are clear and easy to follow; installation is likely possible with just one person, but they recommend two, and I would as well. As they’re made of real wood, the pieces aren’t light, and having someone else there to hold them up while you mount them is a big help.I chose this over a standing cat tree because I have a one year old who tends to try to climb every piece of furniture in the house. This fort eliminates the chance of a top heavy cat tree tipping over on her. And we chose to place it high enough up our wall that the cats can jump up to the bottom ladder, but the baby can’t reach it to climb. Our cats seem to love it, they got right up on it to explore and then laid down to nap.It’s an excellent alternative to traditional cat trees, and we’re all very happy with it! I’ll probably be buying other pieces in the future to add on to it!

Bad set up
I don’t know how to Star this as I’m currently putting this together. I have put together many things including 2 different bowflex machines and this by far is the most annoying set up so far. I don’t understand how I buy $300 worth of product and they can’t simply put drill holes into the poles. Or even better screw the things in place for us. I’m ver disappointed. Which absolutely sucks cause this was not going to be the only piece I bought. Now I really don’t know. The directions are terrible and even quoted things like “tan” screws don’t exist. They are small black screws.

Pay attention to the distance between studs.
We purchased this as a portion of a wall unit to give our kitties some extra climbing space after we moved them into a different room in the house (litter boxes and food dishes). I managed to put it all together by myself although it does suggest two people put it together and it took me about five hours. One thing I didn’t realize when I bought the piece was that the designs call for 16” between studs and our new construction house doesn’t have that distance. In fact it seemed to vary from stud to stud which was really annoying. While this isn’t the fault of catastrophicreations, I would have been better if there was a way to adjust the distance between portions of the piece or at least if the 16” bit had been better explained up front. This led to some issues with making sure portions were securely fastened to the wall and necessitated some changes to the arrangement. All in all though it seems to be made really well and the cats have already started checking it out. I will likely purchase extra pieces again later.

A very unique cat play area.
It provides a unique climbing and play area for your cat. My cats were at first terrified of it, but they slowly learned to traverse the fabric walkways. With in a couple of days they were masters of the Roman Cat Fort! It really helped to have two people do the instalation and it only took about 3 hours.

Made in USA by cat owners for cats
Very well constructed. Easy mounting instructions. Made in the USA. It can be attached to wall with 1 person but i feel 2 is better as some of the pieces are rather awkward to hang and hold if you want them level.

Needs more brackets or larger wood end pieces
Well made however the shorter end pieces aren’t very stable. Would be better if they were all the larger pieces. I am going to add more brackets to make it more secure and hope that solves the issue. Also hard to clean. You would have to take it apart and remove cloths or use a carpet shampooer. Otherwise this is a great product.

Great for getting the most out of a small apartment for the cats
We have a small nyc apartment so we decided to buy some wall mounted cat shelves for our kittens to climb on. They really love it and we are happy with the quality of the product, nice and sturdy. A guest remarked that the set up also looks like an art piece. Will definitely be buying more from catastrophic creations!
