I purchased this butter dish because when my extended family was staying at my home, they accidentally broke our previous dish. The dish they replaced it with was way, way too small. It only fit about a half a stick at a time. Not good at all! This replacement from Amazon is really, really cool. It's sturdy, large but not bulky and looks very attractive in my kitchen. I bought one of these for my daughter and I liked it so much. I got one for myself. It’s a very attractive design and very sturdy. Has non-skid feet on the bottom, which keeps it from sliding around on the top of my counter. There’s plenty of room for two sticks of butter. I’ll leave my butter out, and not in the fridge. It keeps very well, I definitely recommend it.

I love the look of this butter keeper, and it keeps a nice seal. My only complaint is that the knife on top doesn’t stay in place. It would have been once for it to somehow click into place and stay there instead of falling off when you take the lid off.
