Attempting to stack on carpet is very difficult they can curl and roll up rather than slide under. I like that they are clear and seem very durable. But to use them on carpet you have to put them down first and carefully put the item on top. No sliding. Lift item up, set shims underneath exactly where the item be then set it down, on top shims. Difficult to use with large furniture by one person. If you tilt object to put them under, and you tilt it to a shimmed foot, the shims will come out from inder foot. They are not solid and have a small hollow in the center that can cause them to shift and come out if you tilt. SUMMARY: PROS -Clear -Will not discolor or damage floor or item -Flexible, doesn't damage MDF easily CONS -Difficult to use on carpet by one person -has hollow in center that causes shim to move if item is not set down all sides same time or if multiple shims are used on one spot. -Short. Shimming something without legs like a cabinet or entertainment center means all the weight is on the small surface area of the shim rather than distributed more evenly. (Ex. Shimmed bookcase- with back higher than front. Now the back of the bookcase and the shim on the front have the weight, the sides have a gap from the shim to the back. Might want to use long wooden shims instead for additional support)

The best solution to stabilize wobbly tables at my restaurant. They are clear and small so almost invisible. They work really well.

The product is great but very expensive for pieces of plastic shims.
