MNGARISTA 2 Pack Heavy Duty Retractable Keychain, Metal Carabiner Badge Holder Reel, Retractable ID Badge Holder with 31.5” Steel Cord, 8.0 oz

Although this item feels quite heavy, I’m not in a role where I have to wear my ID badge all day at work. If you do, and want a pull cord for your badge, I’d look for the equivalent product but with a clip on the back so that it can clip to a shirt pocket or work jacket. Having said all that, the cord is sturdy but unwinds easily, so I don’t feel like I am weight lifting to scan my badge as I walk around my work site.

I had previously bought cheaper versions of this and to my regret they broke within weeks, hense this purchase. These are made of metal and the retractable mechanism is far superior to the other cheap ones available. Although a bit more expensive than others on Amazon I have currently had no issues in the months of use. I use it to hold my large phone case on my belt and to stop it falling to the ground or being dropped when out and about. I recommend paying a bit more and getting a quality, long lasting product.

On my personal opinion basis, it’s really worth it,an absolute piece of keychain safe and heavy duty indeed. What really let me down as manufacturers flaw is the middle mud that holds the housing continuously coming out loose eventually shatters”inset pic’,and it’s no easy to put together, I had this for less than a month😞… I’m trying to get hold of the manufacturer/seller for replacement..

Does a good job but is heavy. Wear on my lanyard around my neck at work so I’m not bending to use my keycard to unlock doors but at the price of a sore neck every now and then.

Great sturdy bit of kit. These are solid built cable kit retainers. Used to keep my medical sheers with my grab bag. Has a bit of weight to them but it's a sign of their build quality.

I bought these to replace my work badge lanyard which was plastic and kept on breaking. The spring mechanics has high tension and it’s a sold heavy bit ok kit.

Great for storing my work keys so I can easily open doors, lockers and operate machines at work without having to stick my hands in pocket and try and find the keys. Looks more professional than trying to find the keys in your pockets (especially when in a hurry). Keys do rattle a little bit but can't help that. I have convinced my colleagues to buy these for themselves as they are fantastic.

Very substantial item (large, bulky and heavy).. Not for the office unfortunately (unless you want to look like GI Joe/Jane) They certainty appear to be heavy duty. Double the size and weight of the usual retractable badge holders you find in the stationary cupboards! My fault for not reading the item description/measurements. Will find alternative uses for it.

I use this keychain every day at work and it holds my 15 keys with no issue. great build quality
