This is perfect for amateur outdoor trips through the Rockies. I didn’t want to invest in an expensive walkie-talkie, but I also didn’t like that most entry-level walkies still rely on AAA/AA batteries, which are inconvenient to buy and replace while outdoors. This walkie was exactly what I needed—it charges via USB-C, which is super convenient and easy to find almost anywhere these days. The charge holds up well, I recharge them every 1.5-2 days, not bad at all when it’s always in use. Decent range coverage. My group got split up one trail down which was about a mile and we’re still able to connect. My hiking group did lose one of the units, but I’d absolutely repurchase this for future adventures. It’s reliable and practical!

These radios work well. Sound quality is good. I wish that they had a separate on/off volume knob. The control buttons have multi purposes, which can be confusing. I thought of that after I ordered them. My bad. Other than that, I like them. They are light weight, attractive, and relatively easy to use. I've dropped mine several times and they are still working. As I said, not bad for the money.

These walkie talkies are well made. I can clearly hear my family members’ voices from the walkie talkies and the transmission quality is superb. I have dropped them multiple times and they still work perfectly. I also have gotten a bunch of salsa on it, and they function as if nothing happened. Included with the walkie talkies is a dual type c to USB a adapter and they hold their charge for a long time, even with regular usage. I personally like their smaller form factor as it is about the length of my wallet, and I can keep it in my pocket. For 30 dollars, it is perfect as I have been looking for a portable but quality walkie talkie for all my outdoor adventures and vacations!

I got these as an Xmas gift for a 7 year old. I read reviews of several walkie talkies and chose these as they had rechargeable batteries and were on lightning sale. Several reviews mentioned going through a lot of batteries if not re-chargable. These mostly work well. Battery lasts several days if used occasionally, even if left in stand-by mode (so they pick up any incoming signals). They pick up signal from other walkie talkies in the area if on the same channel. Some signals seemed to come from a hotel close to a mile away. The only downside to the pair is that the blue one has a significantly worse speaker. It creates cracking noise especially at higher volumes and is much harder to understand. I suspect the speaker is blown. Haven't decided yet if I return the item.

I have been using these to chat with buddies I am fishing with on the Deschutes River. I drop a buddy or two off in different runs and then move up or downriver to fish another spot. Once the guys finish their runs the contact me so I can move them to another spot. I have chatted with the guys around multiple bends in the river up to 1/2 of a mile apart. The batteries are lasting for multiple trips. The systems is simple to set up once you read the instructions. Lots of channels are available and easy to change if someone is walking on your conversations. The price is low and I had poor expectations for the overall performance, I was wrong. These are a great communication tool at a great price.

Good quality, and a rechargeable battery I chose these Walkie-Talkies primarily because they have a rechargeable battery. They also have a very good price point as well. The sound quality is very good ! You have the ability of multiple channels, very easy to set up. The fact that you don’t have to replace batteries frequently makes these units a sound choice. I highly recommend this product, I personally have not had the first problem with them.

Look elsewhere, folks! Buyer beware! Not for the serious folks that need reliable units. Range is very sketchy, even at short distances. Like many others have stated, the battery does not long. When turning on the units, you have to be very careful. If you hold the on/off button down too long, it changes channels and it's a pain to correct and realign both units to the same channel. Also, when contacting the seller about a battery replacement, they replied with a blank message and tried to close out the message. Another message, no response... Red flag to buyers.....
