Amazon Essentials Women's Short Sleeve Elastic Waist Cotton Jersey Minidress

I was looking for this style of dress in cotton since a similar one I bought was polyester and a little hot. This looked like it fit the bill, and it didn't disappoint! I ordered the navy, which is almost more of a peacock blue, but very pretty. It was comfortable, cool, not to shear but soft fabric. The dress is a nice length, hitting just above the knee (I'm 5'3"), and the pockets are a plus! I plan to buy it in black as well. I would buy more colors if it came in more dark shades - a lot of the colors are pretty light, and seem like they wouldn't be as flattering. Very happy with my purchase!

The fit is good, surprised at how "roomy" the S feels. It's a boxier cut I guess. The elastic waist does not cinch in a lot. It is surprisingly pretty cute despite the elastic not really sitting at my natural waist. It's one of my go-to dresses. The fabric on top is cut on the bias so it hangs crooked when I hang it to dry, but once I'm wearing it it falls straight again. Not sure if this will be a problem in the long run. For the price, I think it's ok quality. I hope to get years of wear with gentle care as long as that diagonal fabric doesn't wreck it. That's the reason for 4 stars.

If you’re looking for a comfy dress that you can throw on during those hot summer months this is it. I love the design. The cinch at the waist gives it shape and of course, POCKETS!! What’s not to love about that feature?!! This dress can be styled any way you like. Casual with tennis shoes or dressy with a belt and some cute sandals. I bought the blue color and it’s beautifully bold. I’m 5’5, 143lbs, pear-shaped and bought a medium. It fits perfectly. Hits at the knee and roomy for comfort but still gives me shape. The material isn’t see through either. Highly recommend.

These are very cute and practical dresses, but I found the fabric too heavy for a light Summer dress. Even though I liked the style and fit, I’ll be returning... 😕

What a comfy casual dress that can be dressed up or down, depending on what you pair it with. It's a comfortable soft material, and the fit is great. I'm 5'2" 150 lbs and got a medium. It did not shrink in the wash. This was the second one I purchased, after loving the first one so much.

This 100% cotton dress is perfect for me- good fit, all cotton for summer, !!POCKETS!! that fit my phone. Just placed my 6th order for a 3rd dress: half the time I get used/dirty, or damaged/defective products. Usually doesn't happen with Amazon products- go figure. But this last time, I did reorder, because, seriously, this is the perfect throw on, go to the store summer dress.

I wear a size 8 pants, but bought this in large since it is cotton. Once dried it fits great; not too clingy and tight, but not too baggy either. The elastic waist is more flattering and provides more of a shape than a boxy t-shirt dress. It can be used as a coverup or something to throw on and go. And.. it has pockets and comes in a variety of colors! I have navy, black and pink.

The small is really big. Not flattering at all. I bought it based off a social media influencer post and it looked great on her and she said it was a small. I ordered a small and it was enormous. Had to return.
