Great holder
I do hand embroidery and am finding that holding the larger hoops makes it difficult to sew on. This holder is very adjustable and will hold any size hoop I put in it. I can use it on a table or while sitting in my chair It is well worth the money.

Only gets 4 stars.
When I first started putting it together, I was really impressed with qualityâŚ..until I got to the âplasticâ clamp. The opening is only big enough for hoops. Sometimes I use my homemade frames. Plus, you are constantly re-tightening it on the hoop. I havenât come up with a solution yet to change the clamp, but will ask my son if he can. Itâs such a shame they couldnât come up with a better solution than a plastic clamp.

Works Well
Very easy to put together and works well on a table top. I find it doesnât extend high enough to use if you sit on the âwingsâ but it may for some people.

Great but...
This stand is easy to assemble and seems sturdy enough, however, it is lacing the feature to turn your embroidery to the back side. It doesn't have a feature to twist. It is important because you need to anchor the thread in the back. So to do this, you need either remove it from the clamp, which is very annoying or turn it all the way up and really raise your arms to work on the back, so your arms will get a bit tired. If any of this doesn't bother you then it is a nice and sturdy stand. Great if you don't want to hold your embroidery hoop in your hands, which is technically the purpose of this purchase. Wish they added a side turn to the clamp.

Hands free and comfortable!
Perfect for my counted cross stitch work and making perfect "French knots" for embroidery work. Wooden base and flexible arms work well sitting in a chair as well as sitting with my feet up in the recliner! Hands are free and base comfortable under my legs.
