Worked perfectly. Plugged it in and immediatly my videocard was under the impression it had a 1080p monitor plugged into it. Which resulted in a fast and lag free interface through my occulus Rift S. And Occulus Go. When I stream games to the wireless Oculus Go it o ly would work while the monitor was plugged in and turned on. Which sucks when your trying to play in bed at night next to someone sleeping. This fixed that problem. Also in the rift S it has a built in virtual desktop feature, this wouldn't work unless a monitor was plugged in and on also. Now I can use my PC and VR without needing a monitor, I can even just use my phone to connect to it initially to get past the windows pw login screen. Perfect solution to my issues.

I have used around one dozen of these, and all have done the job. Some computers will not output Intel AMT remote console video without a monitor, or one of these attached. Only ones that also have had a small LED light to tell that they are getting power, and while rarely used, isn't a bad touch to have on there.

These little things are great if you have computers / servers that you access remotely that don't have monitors attached. These fixed a connectivity issue I was having using Chrome Remote Desktop to access one of my servers. The machine doesn't have a monitor so the graphics card was defaulting to a low resolution that wouldn't work with Chrome Remote Desktop, I saw nothing but a black screen whenever I tried to access the server in question. Installing this device was an instant, inexpensive fix.

I was able to successfully create a secondary display with this HDMI Dummy plug and mirror the secondary screen to another PC using a different mirroring software! HDMI plug works fine and low cost!

I had started the return as I was only getting 1080p on my computer. Cancelled the return after I replaced the old graphics card by new [XFX RX 550 2GB DDR5 DD 1203MHz DP HDMI DVI PCI-Express 3.0 Graphics Card RX-550P2DFG5] and got the expected performance as stated! My setup is a headless workstation based on old 4x AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 630 Processor, with 32 Gig RAM, 256 Gb SSD running RedHat Enterprise Linux 8.2 with free developer subscription. These worked perfectly for running a Raspberry Pi in headless mode. Now I can use VNC to log in with a reasonable monitor resolution. It shows up as 1920x1080 on my Pi 3B.

Seems to be working just fine, especially with a system I had that does not post without a connected display. Build quality and finish is rather good, although one of them had a dirty connector. The problem with this pack is that I had only received 2 dongles in the 3 pack that I had purchased.Edit: Upped to 5 stars, was sent an additional 3 pack after contacting customer service. They also work well.

As i am running both Nvidea and AMD video cards, and my display is hooked up to the Nvidia cards, these little guys work excellent for allowing my video AMD video cards to become recognized by MSI Afterburner. Only need one plugged into one (AMD) card and then all AMD cards show up in the Afterburner application.

Works as expected for remote desktop/screen sharing purposes, without the need to keep a display connected to the remote computer. Using this on an Apple Mac Mini its display options are the same as with a connected display, up to 1080P (might be a function of my ~2011 era computer). Screen sharing is as fluid as with a display connected. While the plug's black plastic design not as aesthetically attractive as some of the other equivalents dummy plugs available here, you get a three-pack for about the same price as one of those other ones. I really only needed one and would have preferred that option if available.

Received them quickly. Have been using them for a while and has been working fine with no issues.

Solved an issue with my mining rig where the iGPU would stop being detected and kept making my rig reset. This keeps the iGPU stable and also allows for higher resolution when using a remote desktop. Works great!
