This book was amazing and really highlights the importance of women listening to their intuition and letting our bodies do the work. I love how the focus is on connecting with Allah swt during this blessed time. It truly is in line with Islamic core beliefs and will always be a go to for me. I encourage every mother to read so they have a better understanding of the whole birth process.

This book makes me want to have another go at pregnancy, to experience birth the way nature intended.Excellent information in easy reading format. Even a must read for all those involved helping mother-to-be in preparing for birth, (husbands, mothers/mother-in-laws, mid-wives, doulas and yes...even or maybe especially, obstetricians!) Whether first time or after several births, every woman who reads and applies the information from this book, knowing she has choices and options, will be forever grateful. Priceless! A no-nonsense, right down to facts without pages of words just to fill up a book. Well done Aisha Al Hajjar!

I love this book. It’s great I wish I know about it with my frist child. It has amazing advise. After reading this book I want to have another child. May Allah bless Sister Aisha and her family for her amazing work.

I wish i had this book when I had my first child 15 years ago. Or my last child 2 years ago. Its very informative and impowering book with a Islamic perceptive. May Allah reared the sister for her intention and make things easy for her and her family amen .

I thought it would explain in detail but seems to be more about an introduction and background about amani birth and the availability to learn more from the program...not as what I was expecting.

This book is a great and easy read. I read it in one sitting! The book flows easily and the information is amazingly beneficial and absolutely simple to process. This book helps you build confidence in trusting Allah and the natural birth process. Highly recommended!!!

This book covers many natural birth topics in a way that even I could understand. I have learned so much from this book that it will now be a standard gift for all of my mom-to-be friends. This book was written by a women who is Muslim and she has incorporated the faith into the text gracefully. PLEASE DO NOT GO RUNNING AT THE FIRST SIGHT OF THE WORD OR THOUGHT MUSLIM! I AM NOT MUSLIM and I enjoyed the book greatly. If it bothers you that much skip over parts that address faith. Don't let religion turn you away from a wonderful book on natural birth. I don't care what book you read who you worship or how you practice you faith, babies development labor and birth (when done naturally) is the same around the world.This book was an easy read for me and I couldn't put it down most days. It has reminded me and shown me more that pregnancy is not an illness and my body was designed to do this, I just have to trust it and learn to work with it. It did open my eyes to how much i should be preparing for birth ahead of time. Who knew?? Not many and that is the point!!

The AMANI Birth book is a solid introduction into all things birthy. It creates a good base for Muslim mums to understand how the physiology of birth works and the kind of mindset necessary to achieve a birth to truly feel involved in! A must read!

This book is very well written and very well informed. As a first time mother I had no idea what to expect and the guidelines given in this book were amazing all relating back to Islam as well which was the best part. Highly recommended.
